Acnologia killed dragons with bare hands, while Aldoron wasn't able to kill Gajeel (!) with combined physic + magic attacks.

Acno not being able doesn't reduce his durability. He was shattered like glass by Natsu rainbow fire. Aldoron's body was taken out by Natsu's DF form. No one other than him was able to damage his Dragon body.
Only in fanfics will these dragons beat Gajeel. Beating no name trash dragons mean nothing.

IMO Acno wasn't damaged at all by Plotsu's rainbow flames at all. HE was shattered because of Fairy Heart, it looked like the punch itself failed to put even a scratch on Acno. Remember, when FH seals those under the spell, they disappear. Acno is sealed by Fairy Sphere, it took the magic of an entire continent to defeat/seal him
Why shouldn't he exist? Mashima is the one who is said Zeref was cursed by Ankeseram and it was said from Zeref's mouth as well. One who is trying to make fanfic is here is not trying to say he doesn't. Mashima would have named it Zeref's curse, not Ankeseram.

Acno never merked Animus. He survived, If he was gutted like you say he would have instantly died. Only one who died was Zirconis and other Dragon. Zirconis is a GMG fodder dragon that doesn't mean much in the current arc or Alvarez. Funny thing you say is how these fodder dragons would kill Gajeel when Acno wouldn't do it himself.

All the DS had physical bodies. They were never souls. The only Soul there was Acnologia which was split from his Dragon Form.
Then Mashima would have said sealed. He wouldn't specifically say that his dragon body disintegrated. And Lucy even says DS beating his soul was what did him.
