Fantasy Jellal/Siegrain vs Jose Porla

[Orphan Prince]

A battle between Wizard Saints, this is going to have three rounds, power levels from ToH arc

Round 1; Siegrain vs Jose

Round 2; Jellal (full-powered) vs Jose

Round 3; Jellal and Siegrain vs Jose

No restrictions;

Siegrain is able to use all of Jellal's Magic, including destructive spells.

Takes place in GMG Arena, Jellal, Siegrain, and Jose are bloodlusted

I consider Jose as Mira lvl (which I think is a bit lower than Makarov at that time) and Jellal is between Laxus and Makarov.
So Jellal wins all 3 rounds.

Laxus>Jellal>Makarov>Jose

the way i see it. when the WS thing was still new, no way can thought projection becomes a WS. the crapping on fairy tail hype came latter. so seigrein can't actually do magic or was solid. just the way he explained it to erza.
so that mean full power jellal was WS tier. most likely starting level. jura claimed he was the weakest in OS arc. jellal also didnt know he could beat erza, who had slight 10 WS tier hype going on. so its possible jellal was 9th WS.
meanwhile jose thought he could handle marakrov, who i think was 5th or 6th WS tier. which makes me believe jose was 7th WS tier.

thus jose should beat full power jellal

To be honest, it's unnecessary speculation in terms of power scaling Siegrain. Just use Jellal who should be above Jura, Jose and Laxus (all depends on how you scale the fights) but below Makarov.

Though the WS title actually meant something early on, there were still major power discrepancies between them. Jose and Jura were no match for Makarov and Jellal fought a DF Natsu.

That time it was the typical thought projection. It was though projection from "Seigrain", where he mentioned everyone present there were projections, it was the same projection that other council members used.
We've seen Seigrain make physical contact in the anime. And, as I said before, if he was a typical projection with no physical body and magic power, then he would've been immediately found, forget tricking the council for years.

A character improves as much as Mashima wants them too, it just so happens that relevant characters are the people Mashima wants to improve most. Jura grew as much as he did because he was relevant for that arc, so Mashima wanted him to grow.

I'd put Laxus and Jellal on Jose's tier, Jura slightly below. Jose gave Makarov a decent fight, but Makarov was still the superior wizard, I wouldn't even say the fight was that high diff.
