Matsuura's art doesn't disappoint once again. I like the first chapter and hopefully this one stays and it gets more CPs in the future.

It's not that Undead Unluck's CPs are bad, but they tend to be too normal? I just want something as creative as the series itself lol.

Kenjiro Tsuda will be the VA of Nanami in Jujutsu anime.
Damn Tsuda's exactly who I wanted to be cast as Nanami, I'm supper happy.

Burn the Witch CP makes me long for Kubo doing a slice of life at some point (preferably focusing on fashion students).

Phantom Seer looks amazing, love the perspective and colouring.

Undead Unluck CP leaves a lot be desired once again.
Shokugeki no Souma but fashion 😂

Great CP for Honomieru

Haikyuu and Jujutsu Kaisen starting a day apart :dancin October would have been perfect if I could also watch the demon slayer movie :feelsbadman At least the possibility of it reaching 90 million in circulation during that time will be nice

Uff, that color page from Honomieru Shonen is incredible.
For some reason I really like the fact that the female is wearing jeans. You don't see that often in manga in WSJ manga or at least not in a CP. Its always dresses and skirts or...less clothes.

Kubo's color palette for the last 2 CPs have been really great. Its very artsy. He didn't attempt to give it any forms of realism or unnecessary depth and it works so well.
Kubo doing a slice of life-comedy manga would be great.
Ever since this CP from Bleach, I thoroughly believe that Kubo would excel in slice of life genre.

Koukousei Kazoku's second chapter is only 11 pages long. Burn the Witch's last CP is a color spread and it's 55 pages long.

Also, worth noting that it's mentioned that The Red Pledge, the one-shot that originated Bokura no Ketsumei, was very well received. They probably have some high expectations for this one.

I think they count the first two chapters like a single one, kind of like how some animation shows have two segments in a single episode.

The art of Bokura no Ketsumei is very reminiscent of Act age.

I don't see it, tbh. The use of tones is completely different and the eyes have nowhere near the same amount of expressiveness/flair as Usazaki's. Even the shading of the hair is kind of different from the way Usazaki does it.

Well, you can definitely fit 1 volume with those number of pages for Burn The Witch.

While not bad, the art style feels way more generic anime/manga style than Usazaki’s art. Usazaki’s style is easily as recognizable as Kubo’s, Horikoshi’s, Oda’s, and Toriyama’s styles are to them. I don’t think I’d be able to point this style out or associate it to any particular artist(of course I’m only basing this on the preview image. I’d imagine it’ll look a lot more distinct once reading it and seeing color pages. Still don’t see it resembling Act-Age though)

I have noticed Bokura no Ketsumei is not translated in English yet. But in it's available in spanish.

I read it and really liked, maybe because my soft spot is vampires. I wonder how much will change for the serialization.

Here a gist with some plot twists on it:
It's about vampires living in the human world and they are hated by humans. We have this little boy called Kou, a vampire who goes to school and he has a normal life. He has an older brother called Shin. Both are trying their best to cohabitate with humans.

the plot twist is that they are not siblings and his older brother is human, the kids parents adopted him when he was a baby and to compensate them, he made a blood contract with the kid to protect him, and its revealed that Kou, is the son of the King of vampires, called as "pure blood". Also it seems they will protect humans since there's some malicious group that is planning a mass killing humans (they were the reason why they triggered the kid, cuz they hurt Shin).

The raws definitely gave the feel of a straight up chapter 1 rather than a one off, not surprised if it was popular, gave me a "I want to know what happens next feel", looking forward to reading the series.

Definitely agree that Usazaki's art is just as identifiable as some one the veterans that you listed. I don't think the art of Bokura no Ketsumei resembles Act-Age but that drawing from the preview image doesn't do the art from the one shot justice. It's actually pretty stylish, definitely more reminiscent of other Jump SQ manga.

Off topic question but am I the only one who wants an isekai serialized in jump? Also looking at the BNK summary and art the series reminds me of seraph of the end, I can definitely see it’s influence. Really looking forward to BNK.
