While I think Magu-chan is pretty funny and I thought it was the best out of the batch early on, it is becoming a bit more repetitive. I feel like it showed a few strengths, but the manga doesn't really make use of them a lot. Magu and Naputaaku have so much potential as characters, but I feel like that potential often isn't utilized. I feel like it is taking a similar route to Moriking which has also become more and more repetitive over time.
On the other hand, although I didn't expect this to happen, I enjoy Roboco more currently, because it makes use of its strengths. It's really good at parodies, 4th wall breaking and running gags. The gags themselves also seem to have more twists to them and are more unpredictable, especially in the most recent chapter. It seems to be trying to build a world where the mangaka can do whatever he wants, similar to Gintama, just that it is aimed at kids. So it honestly doesn't surprise me that Roboco is consistently doing well so far.
