We Never Learn new volume isnt in the promotion page too, seems like isnt as much off a "sign" like you guys are trying to make, more like the add has too much big series eating space of a single page since is KnY, Tpn, BC, Jjk, and both Mashle and Ayakashi that ofc they will push more, ofc still not a positive thing but after all this time i doubt a missing cover ilustration is the true Agravity killer kkkk
It is, and We Never Learn just proves it. Shueisha isn't gonna try anymore to push a series with a fixated end in 2 volumes and that keeps decreasing in sales, in the same way every other series that isn't in the page does. The page actually has more than enough free space to put all covers, but they decided to leave them out, so there's probably reasons enough to do so. Ignoring a series and not even advertising it in what should be the page collecting all volumes from the magazine that are coming out in X month is more than a sign on how much does the editorial care about a series.

Looking at WNL spoilers, I’m convinced the Asumi route is the best by far. Might be a little contrived, but it all fits together and raises the stakes accordingly unlike the last 3 routes. It helps that both of the MCs are adults in the story, so the story going into a slightly darker route than the previous routes makes sense.

Dayum, SxF mad monster, you'd never think they'd be such a beast with the cute fake family they put on the cover. xD
You got the daily sales for the past couple days as well, Ryuusei?

Monthly Shoseki Estimations - August of 2020

1. Haikyuu!! #44
3. Jujutsu Kaisen #12
6. Chainsaw Man #8
7. Dragon Ball Super #13
40. World's End Harem #12
44. We Never Learn #18
80. Mashle #2
203. Mission: Yozakura Family #4
374. 'Tis Time for "Torture" Princess #3

-----

Talking about Yozakura monthly sales:

Mission: Yozakura Family #1: 14.253
Mission: Yozakura Family #2: 15.160
Mission: Yozakura Family #3: 20,566
Mission: Yozakura Family #4: 22,826

Monthly Shoseki numbers for Yozakura are quite off, according to the weekly data Yozakura #4 sold "21,048" in 13 days but in the full month sold only "1,778" more copies? weird lol but it's growing and its what matters :^_^
Top100 for Mashle 2, noice!
Hope UU can place similar well for September monthly.

Promotion page for the September volume covers in the issue #39:

Few volumes, they included Yuuna that sell quite less than WNL and even Guardian of the Witch last volume.

October has 12 releases, a lot more to include in 1 single page ad, this is why i said about the space because when there are few volume release they include even spin off in the advertising

You haven't even seen the page, yet think I'm lying or throwing random conclusions when I actually have had it since yesterday. Here it is.

> they included Yuuna that sell quite less than WNL and even Guardian of the Witch last volume.
This is not about sales, this is about editorial treatment, expectations and caring. We even have track of them removing Samurai 8 from these pages back at its 4th Volume, it's not that hard to get the hint, they have clearly given up on promoting anything out of them.

> October has 12 releases, a lot more to include in 1 single page ad
What is that even supposed to prove? We have had volume pages with up to even 9 volumes.

> when there are few volume release they include even spin off in the advertising
Yeah, that's why they included Black Clover Quartet Knights in this month's page, didn't they? Xd

You're actually wrong about Samurai 8 vol 4, they included in the advertising, vol 3 that wasnt, issue #14:

Btw, the October page just shows how crowded it is even without many of the volume covers included, also, why youre being so aggressive toward this? No one is saying youre lying about things, chill out dude kkkkk

You just blatantly ignored the baseless point you made of spin-off covers, and the absurd size of the characters on the page, as well as me showing you how other pages have more than enough covers. But I guess the relevant thing in my post is how I confused the number of the S8 volume. Dunno why should I keep answering this. Have fun.

You should take your own advise too and have fun kkkk

Btw the Samurai 8 example also shows the point about the space, vol 3 wasnt included in a very crowded month while vol 4 cover was included in a month with fewer volumes to advertise, they actually do these things

It's not like we need any more hints to know that Moriking and AB are gonna get axed LOL. Only question is when.

My personal bet is when WNL ends.
Agravity should wrap the volume in issue 49, assuming moriking has the same amount of chapters per volume as mitama (given reduced page count) it'll wrap up in 50, which slots in perfectly since the GFC ends in 49 so a new round can start right after it ends. This would also be optimal since you can bet your ass the first issues of the 2021 jump year will start by celebrating OP's 1k chapters, probably multiple issues in a row, so a new round would either have to wait or come right before it.

I think I would probably still count that as 'when WNL ends'. As part of the same round I mean. It should end in January right? It wouldn't be the first time they have more series than normal for a couple issues while they wait for something to end. It'd be weird to start a new batch just 3 or 4 issues after another.

Well, not really. Zipman's batch started on issues #1-2 then Undead Unluck's batch started 4 issues later on issues #8-10. Same thing for Moriking's batch, which started on issues 20-24 (21-22 was double issue and 23 was a group cover), and Ayakashi Triangle's batch, which started on issues #28-31. Also, there is a 5 issue gap between Ayakashi's batch and Burn the Witch's gap so another serialization round can definitely happen soon.

WNL should end in one of the first issues of jump's 2021 year, so they could just go an issue or 2 with an extra series, it wouldn't really be a problem.

Or this can happen too. This might even be more likely since I don't really remember if jump has had batches starting "in between" jump years (and a 4th series would fall on issue 1), so they could just do a 3 series batch, break it off to celebrate OP, then start another one soon after.

Then again there is a precedent for starting a series during GFC with bakuman, which got cover on chapter 2 instead, but yeah, don't think that's gonna happen here.

Yeah, that has happened, but not frequently. The most recent one was Takujou no Ageha's batch, which started on issue #51 of 2014 and carried out to issue #1 of 2015 with Gakkyuu Houtei.

By these numbers it's definitely possible to get another batch this year. Current trends mean it could be as soon as #46, followed by another batch (hopefully) after One Piece's 1000th chapter when We Never Learn ends (roughly #2 or #3). Depending how many they need to axe it definitely looks like Agravity Boys and Moriking are next, with Magu-chan not far behind; if nothing changes it might survive until when WNL ends.

Remember there's also still an empty spot left open by Act-age too. WNL + Moriking + Agravity Boys ending would leave 4 spots for new series.

WnL still has the sensei route to complete (and it hasn't even started yet), I don't think it would be possible to hold Moriking for so long (even though they've held Mitama for 47 chapters).
I think it would be possible to cancel just Moriking and start only 2 new series.
