This 4rd chapter for Phantom Seer was really enjoyed compared to chapter 3, i don't know, i'm having the feeling the series will survive or at least have a decent start in the rankings, in the twitter polls it's doing good too (yes i know that isn't only jp readers voting but still...), seems like is the classic "nothing original but it's well done and consistent", would be cool to see GFC curse finally broken.
Also Phantom Seer PV has a lot of views on Youtube. Burn the Witch has 232K views, Phantom Seer has 226K views. Ayakashi Triangle is at 104K views. I think those are the highest views for new manga PV's. The reception seems pretty good for it to get that many views (Yeah GOTW has 95K views, but that like-dislike ratio for it is really bad, but Phantom Seer has a good ratio).

What they promised me: vampires

What they gave me: demonic possession and exorcism

That's an interesting number. Black Clover's anime debuted when the manga had 13 volumes out and 4,400,000 in circulation, while Jujutsu Kaisen will have the same amount of volumes (well kind of since there's still volume 0 so technically 14 volumes) once the anime debuts and it has managed to almost double Black Clover's circulation. Jujutsu Kaisen will probably cross the 10 million mark in no time. Shokugeki no Souma had 12 volumes out and 6,300,000 in circulation when the anime started and The Promised Neverland also had 12 volumes but had 8,800,000 in circulation. Jujutsu Kaisen is in a really good spot right now.

I'm also curious to see if Black Clover's circulation number finally gets updated, it's been stuck at 10 million for a really long while.
And Kimetsu ?

In order of reading, this time.

Dr Stone: Life lesson in one picture. That's how you do not-preachy.

UU: ... That's a weird kink, pal. But I'm loving the orchestrated chaos right now.

OBO: My god, the brat is annoying. I like the drawings and the atmosphere, but I care more about the one-time characters than I do about the reoccurring ones.

MHA: This.. didn't work for me. I love the idea of Bakugo coming around and them growing closer, but the shift here was so sudden it made me feel he was out of character the entire time. I even read the last few chapters again to see if I missed something, but there's really nothing there to explain this level of devotion.

Mashle: I'm aware the series isn't exactly known for its subtlety, but this was still very in-your-face. We know he can't use magic, we would've gotten how he felt without the explanatory flashbacks and the repetitive dialogue (I swear I've heard this "If I beat you, it means I'm superior and your way of thinking is wrong" speech at least three times before in the last ten chapters. Like, it's a good sentiment, but come on).

Yozakura: It started off a little forced, but then it got surprisingly nice.

High school family: The brat is annoying.

Magu-chan: All of them are annoying. On the plus side, I learned some new words.

One Piece: Not really following everything that's happening anymore. Happy for the guy on the cover page, took him long enough to get there. Feeling kinda bad for Jinbe, who is still figuring out that being the voice of reason only gets you so far in this crew.

WNL: You know those things are meant to be thrown, right..? And how come you still haven't learnt how to swim? You're an adult!

Phantom Seer: Not all of the jokes land, but I am starting to like the characters. And the story isn't bad either, although still a little basic. I hope this one stays around for a bit.

AT: That's not how breasts behave under gravity. But kudos for making all of the poses an integral part of the story.

Robocco & me: The log pose was a nice touch, but the social commentary was straight-up painful.

Moriking: I had to look up what a leaf-rolling weevil is. These descriptions are getting more obscure with the day.

I'm not sure if I should praise the series for becoming self-aware, or complain about it being overly dramatic. Either way, I hope we'll be getting a real detective manga soon.

AB: Not the worst chapter, but not all that funny either. (You have something on your nipples, mister.)

Cop & Dolphin: How do books work underwater? How does smoking work underwater? Whatever. That was kind of cute. And now we're back to square one, cause I still have no idea where this story is going.

Summer Time Rendering might be getting somewhat close to a resolution, though with a series like that, who can tell.

Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku is entering a new arc, and has apparently decided to murder another 75% of its remaining cast. Yay.

Dear Sa-chan is probably ending in the next chapter or so.

Same. I mean, I should be happy he got to this point, but I’m not happy how the journey to get there went down. So this doesn’t feel like a great payoff. And you wouldn’t believe how many people call this “smart” writing.

If anything, I really hope this sort of sticks. Even temporarily crippling him and putting him into rehab would do wonders, which will be a great payoff in the future.

I too have the same sentiment with the Bnha chapter. It felt artificial and way too out of character. Maybe if that progress happened before this arc, this chapter might have been better.

If you wanted a middle ground, maybe the last chapter’s flashback could’ve been placed in this chapter as a buildup to the last page to make it a little more impactful. Maybe the anime will do a better job of directing it?

I heavily disagree this was not out of character we've seen the slow build for something like this coming for a while

Anime was out on volume 15 and 5 million in circulation.
Anyone who reads this should laugh and down a fucking bottle of vodka.

Ey, I've seen people who reads weekly My Hero Academia, seems they like the current arc yet they never vote for MHA in the MH polls. Everybody has different tastes. As nemesis said, is better to this to be continued in the MHA subforum.

Just in a more global Jump level. I think MHA is already over Saint Seiya in both Japan and worldwide sales, so I dunno how to feel about it, if happy for MHA or sad about Saint Seiya sales in Japan.

I’ll just say that the complaints of the action being sudden is all fair. Not quite sure about OOC, though. Still waiting till the end of the arc before I fully evaluate.

I wonder when we’ll get a new serialization round. Probably after GFC, I guess. Wonder what are your favorites out of all the newbies that premiered this year.

Looks like BC will stay at 10mln still. Number has been the same since volume 23 which released in january.

And since volume 27 probably only comes out in January, it will be a full year stuck in 10 million. It's weird considering Black Clover has sold at least 200,000 copies with every volume this year and it also has the spin-off.

I'm totally seeing both Jujutsu Kaisen and Dr.Stone reaching 12 million copies before Black Clover.

I'd say is impossible for them to beat Black Clover in the 11 million marks, but who knows.
