Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Just read the ending for Dear Sa-chan..... 10/10 dumpster fire ending that I was hoping for. That whole series was like watching a trainwreck in slow motion.

Outside of Assassination Classroom, Burn the Witch is the best start of a returning veteran series.

Of course, we don’t have all data available for earlier series, but still, Kubo has a lot to be proud of.

Edit: Forgot about Bakuman. So after AssClass and Bakuman.

Not really, Bakuman sold 154,676 in 7 days (with 4 more days BTW wouldn't had reached it)

Agravity went from 199 to 151. Hopefully it can hold! Ayakashi doing really well still, and Mashle doing nice too.

Curious to see how Agravity Boys will perform in the next weekly Top 500 because based purely in the rankings, the 3rd volume is holding a lot better than the 2nd and keeping on par with the 1st:

Vol.1: #45 > #82 > #224 > #68 > #153 > #199 > #261
Vol.2: #60 > #92 > #246 > #255 > #138 > #244 > #292
Vol.3: #67 > #104 > #187 > #95 > #142 > #199 > #151

Yabuki-sensei masterclass strikes again :D
I always said that Yabuki had a strong fanbase.
I bet the same can happen with Akira Amano and Yuusei matsui.

Who would have thought that a veteran behind multiple (more than two) successful series would have a strong fanbase.

sarcasm is not a good thing.

In addition, I saw comments that people were not so confident in Ayakashi triangle.

Really impressive results of Burn the Witch - so it's the third highest first week for V1 on just three days? I suppose it's not surprising that the others that also debuted so high were also from veterans. Obviously it having an anime and promotion from the off-set helps it (I know this conversation already happened, but I don't think it being a very loose spin-off/shared universe on its own is enough to guarantee its strong performance), but still a fantastic comeback for Kubo to have another success already.

Ayakashi Triangle also doing well. Curious to see how the rest of its batch fairs with volume sales, especially Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin and Me & Roboco (I still think Magu-chan is doomed unless a miracle happens).

Oh? Sorry, I wasn't aware.
Anyways, western commenters don't matter and the only real criticisms were based around the series being more ecchi based than action which isn't really a criticism.
The series always seemed to be getting good online reception in JP, and Yabuki has a strong fanbase built up through his multiple hits spread amongst different magazines now. It's not like say Kishimoto or Fujimaki who had a failure following their SINGLE ultra successful series where it's harder to know if the fans will follow.

Hard-Bop and Dolphin, magu and Me & Roboco sold in November, along with Yozakura, Dr stone, bone collection and Haikyuu's latest volume.
bone collection is dead, but I think the sales of the last volume of Haikyuu will be very high, and I think Yozakura and dr. stone will have good sales, I think that magu, roboko and Shakunetsu didn't attract so much attention. At most one of them will make it.

Sarcasm is a wonderful thing.

Some comments never equals actual reception. Not sure why people keep talking about random comments on the internet.
