Also thinking of it, the mafia seem a bit weak as things stand.. Town have a fairly standard composition based on deaths and claims atm, but the Mafia rolelist isn't looking powerful tbh.

If there are 2 mafia left, what roles are we expecting? Pirate at least? Seems Sakura lost her role. But we have Farf claiming Pirate. I don't know how feasible that is if they have an actual pirate because she would be taking away the ideal claim for that teammate. Also, regarding Sakura losing her role, did she claim D1 or D2? I can't remember which it was. If it was D1, she may have just thought to claim the town counterpart (easy claim). Yeah it's dangerous because the actual hoe could contest, but if it was before she got a chance to talk to her team, I can see Sakura doing that (since she's been away from the game for a while). However, Sakura claims to have blocked desin on a night he still got result. Why would the escort lie about this? Unless to further push the pirate narrative but tbh, I can't see where that's leading.

So following above, the mafia should have a Pirate (now escort) and a diffuser (if we believe asako). Again though, this doesn't feel sufficiently powerful. I mean, yeah there are the titans but that doesn't really even things out honestly

Well I dont usually get meta but maybe gajeel wanted this, serial killer knows mafia team and will never kill them on accident, mafia team has lover that can avoid them killing the serial killer. That means steady flow of townie dead. But we all know what happened. Thats why it might seem like this mafia isnt strong, though escort is the best mafia role.
