Wow, those are some intense numbers in the upper tiers. Not too bad for Yozakura, Roboco, and Magu-chan considering the insane selling power that old backlogs have been having this year. Hopefully all of them will continue to see some considerable growth in their next volumes

Again Monthly Shoseki is super off compared to the weekly, Yozakura was already at 23k in the 2nd week , which means it sold like 1k for the rest of the month? we know that isnt the case since it was already at 27k in the 3rd week. Monthly Shoseki is getting only usefull for series that chart 1/2 week, but well, as expected decent numbers for the trio, wishing for a grow with Cop & Dolphin in the next one

The shoseki estimates will always be too high if people are making them the way I think they are, by assuming the sales go up in a straight line which they won't.
For example, if the shoseki says the manga at #100 sold 20k, and #200 sold 10k, the shoseki estimate for #150 would be 15k. but in reality #150 would probably sell more like 11k-12k and series probably aren't selling over 15k until they hit #120 or so, a lot closer to the top.
When there's a small gap between the numbers shoseki gives it won't matter too much (so Roboco, Magu-chan, and Dolphin's estimates are probably quite accurate), but when there's a gap of 10000 or more that means there's a big error margin. Especially if you're adding together multiple weeks in a row like that.

So all we really know about Yozakura is that it sold somewhere between 22400 and 38600. It could've sold 23k, or 24k, or 25k, or 26k, or even over 30k for all we know. It's probably a lot closer to the lower number since it's only #186, just 14 spots above #200, but that's as accurate as you can really get.
So the 1st month sales estimates for newbies this year are as follows:
Ayakashi: 78,090
Mashle: 32,568
Undead: 15,232
Yozakura: 14,253
Robo-ko: 13,263
Magu: 12,375
Agravity: 12,150
Niraikanai: 11,306
All the others didn´t rank.
Performance for the newbie trio is decent. Next volume will determine who survives and who doesn´t.

Eiichiro Oda's message in Jump Festa 2021 Online, thanks to EtenBoby for the translation.
To the people watching JF, hello!! It really has been a tough year, I believe there're many people strongly affected by the corona virus. I want to give a round of applause to the many workers in the industry who are still bringing spirit to everyone in a wild situation such as now, that's how this year has been.
On Jump, Demon Slayer was amazing. It saved many people emotionally and brought them joy, really impressive. That's how manga should be, I was somehow moved as well!
Now, let's talk about OP stage in JF! One piece is soon reaching chapter 1000!! By the time this message is read, I'll have already finished chapter 1000 and be on my way to meeting the cast...or that's what would've happened! Now I can't go, what a shame...
Old men and women on the stage...wait no
Old men and young ladies on the stage, are you doing well?
Anyway even though I can't go, I still finished chapter 1000! Is it good?
Chapter 1000 will be on the first issue next year!! What a timing! Please look forward to it!
There are all kinds of projects going on alongside the celebration of chapter 1000, they'll warm up the New Year! Then in 2021 we'll have another special year with volume 100!
About the manga story itself, as new info
will that person move a bit-?
The man with red hair...!!
As usual the story is pushing towards its end! Please take your time and enjoy next year as well!
By the way, forgot to comment on this. At the Jump New Heroes Stage, all editors appeared cosplaying characters from their series, and we finally got to see who Ayakashi Triangle's editor is.
I don't have a full picture of his name, but it should be 今村, Imamura, one of the guys from Murakoshi's team.
There's been an update to our forum rules to broaden crediting/sourcing to all series news/announcement, etc. Please read HERE
