It's hard to say if current jump is really slower to cancel new manga, or of it just takes less for a series to be a success due to only having to compete with other newbies instead of having to outdo a bunch of long runners (which they would need to do in the past in the past).

Just look at Magu-chan this issue, it's below every long running hit manga, but it's all the way up at #5 on the ToC.

Sure we don't know the actual votes and maybe it's actually doing 2nd or 3rd but its position shows that series don't need to compete with them at all to succeed right now.

The art was nice which was expected but the story was meh. I don't think this one-shot would've gotten a lot of attention if it wasn't for the act-age issue which makes people want to support Usazaki

Solid one shot, the story could def be a bit better, but for a self contained chapter it works, making me curious as to how it would work as a full series. Usazaki's art was missed for sure, and fits perfectly the mystery genre.
