So they underestimated what to print for Kaisen?
I'm figuring they will start in issue 10 after the trio of one shots are done, Sakamoto and Build King are ranked and anything else that's ending this round will be out of the magazine. Could be wrong but seems most likely. It's been more than 2 weeks since last TOC. I want to know if there will be more newbies in next issue.
I'm not sure if you're intentionally reporting the numbers of the week in which the volume crossed the 5M mark (since it happened a week ago), but Kimetsu volume #1 has already sold 5,099,821Kimetsu no Yaiba 1 became the first work ever to sell more than 5 million copies in Oricon's history with 5,029,069 copies sold in total.
As for Kimetsu no Yaiba 23 and Gaiden they have closed out their 5th week with 4,297,770 and 1,704,584 in total, respectively.
We already knew it had crossed the 5 million mark but we didn't know it was the first thing ever to do so since the article was only posted this week.I'm not sure if you're intentionally reporting the numbers of the week in which the volume crossed the 5M mark (since it happened a week ago), but Kimetsu volume #1 has already sold 5,099,821
If it was intentional, my bad
Also volume #23 is missing the limited edition, that would put the sales VERY close to the 5M mark with just 31 DAYS... (the last time it ranked in the top 50, it had already sold 626,200 copies, so the final volume including limited edition has sold 4,923,970 minimum)
The final volume sold almost 5M copies in the time frame of 1 month.. Unbeliavable numbers
Oh, you are right, I didn't pay attention to that fact. I thought it was a consensus that it would be the first thing ever to cross the 5M mark, but we actually didn't have this information, you're rightWe already knew it had crossed the 5 million mark but we didn't know it was the first thing ever to do so since the article was only posted this week.
So there’s still hope for a ZipMan anime for the 6 ZipMan fans out therehere's a pretty weird trivia that came out of nowhere
Hiroki Shibata the famous Toei director is Yuusaku Shibata (Yoakemono, ZIPMAN) father
guess now we know how he end up doing the DQ Prequel
Hooray! So there’s still hope for a ZipMan anime for the 6 ZipMan fans out there

That JJK drop is sad. Too bad we can't see the actual numbers it could've posted because of the stock issues.Shoseki Daily Ranking - 1/9

Oh well, next volume I guess.
Stop the underprinting spree already, Shueisha. S8 was almost a year ago.
Last JJK reprint was almost a month ago so it is purely because of the stock, the week after this should be huge for JJK with the 2nd cour starting and reprint coming. With the current volume you can see is a matter of stock but there's not a single other volume in the top 500 and its doing poorly since day 4 at least, it will probably come back with the new episode next week but maybe JJK already (or very close to) reach the peak in sales, which still pretty big btw
