Ah, definitely. But I didn't mean that part specifically. So much of the plan so far appears to be just... managing the crisis. Solving logistics issues, preparing equipment, have actual scientists come up with guidelines... Most of the plan from what i can tell is the bare minimum that should have been going on for almost a year now. 100 mil vaccines in 100 days even sounds absurd but otherwise the bar is so low that the bare minimum should net biden a win. On the flipside, there is also a chance that biden and people in general just don't know how bad things actually are, which could delay even more things biden wants to change.

Biden really hit the inauguration speech out of the park. Obviously, talk is cheap and all, but he did really well there. Maybe it is just the comparison to trump, but still.

It is always somewhat alien as a european to see what kinda of grande show america tends to do with these things (i mean, did you really NEED starsingers performing amazing grace?), but at least it was a good and captivating show.

As far as i know, pardons cannot be revoked once they are in effect and signed. And I don't think Biden would be the kind of guy do go into murky waters like that.
The best bet would be to convict them of another crime they have not been pardoned for if you wanna see them in jail (that is also probably one reason why trump did not pardon himself. If he pardons himself, he admits guilt for a lot of things he did not pardon himself for and thus would make a conviction more likely).

Presidents can't pardon themselves because a person cannot act as a judge in their own case. There's legal opinions on this from the Nixon era, but obviously no precedent.
