Gakkyu Houtei was cancelled after 24 chapters in 2015. Though tbf, only Obata was a veteran and the writer wasn't.
It all depends on growth. The first two volumes should retain his old readership base, but it’s the volumes after that will decide whether it can go on. I do expect it to last at least half a year, at least.
What a ToC, happy for Sakamoto and Mashle for their CPs, tho I’m saddened with Dolphin being rock bottom, guess I should just make up my mind for now for the inevitable

Pretty sure we can’t use Amazon numbers to judge PS at all, iirc it was unavailable for the majority of the last week because it ran out of stock so quickly. But yes Shoseki should be the most informative of course, especially when it comes to Cop and Dolphin (may or may not have dropped but might have stagnated, which isn’t good because it was already below Magu which also stagnated).
To be honest, given Viz track record, I would not trust their translation either.

The break wasn't announced in the previous issue. They are doing it now so people don't buy the new issue and get surprised when they see there's no Jujutsu Kaisen chapter.

It was a fluke they said. It was the final Kimetsu volume push they said. The story will drag the sales down they said.
