I like your predictions and a lot of them are in line with what I personally want to see in the series. I don't think Rei is gonna divorce Enji, at least not right away, if at all, since that right now is just really not appropriate. But I'm confused about how Hori wants to handle Tomura. If he (AFO) is/was really grooming him to be his successor and not just his new body, then what might be is happening right now is complex final test or hurdle that Shigaraki needs to overcome to fully become the primary antagonist. For one, he still sees AFO as his master. He's suppose to be at the top of food chain he shouldn't be calling anyone master, those days are done and gone. However, what is keeping me from latching on to that theory, is what Deku said. The look that Shiggy needs or rather wanted to be saved. Then I started reconsidering things and AFO double speak isn't particularly helpful. I considered what the Nana imagery meant while he was walking towards AFO etc. I read an excellent post on reddit and I'm gonna link it here but the idea that he presented I think is the an alternate viable path the story could travel along.

Is All Might still dying, maybe, maybe not. I think it's still possible. I have personally stated that it's likely he might die very soon. In place of the Gran Torino red herring death. Maybe Hori didn't want to kill two big characters so close together. Maybe Gran Torino takes a turn for the worse and dies after a final conversation with All Might.

I have seen so much people on twitter worried about Tamaki, it's actually really surprising. I don't think he's dead though we need real Heroes now more than ever.

I think that redditpost is very on point! It will be so very difficult for Tomura to break free though, especially if he needs to let go of all the resentment and hatred inside him. I also noticed that even after everything he's been through up till now, after he 'liberated' himself, he still referred to AFO as his master. That felt so odd to me, because Tomura, dude, aren't you supposed to be your own man? It's like he still has blindfolds on.

So the first thing that needs to happen now is that he realizes AFO is manipulating him, and has been manipulating him all his life. That he has no control over his life and over his body as long as AFO is around. I think something drastic needs to happen for Tomura to wake up and open his eyes to this madness. And that drastic thing might just be Spinner's death. Spinner, who became closest to Tomura out of all the LOV members. We haven't seen much of their friendship, but it's safe to assume that if Spinner cares about Tomura, then the opposite is also true.

The previous chapters have shown that Spinner is worried about Tomura, and seeing as he is the one who put the hand on his face and 'handed the reins' to AFO, I can see him trying to undo the damage he has done in order to get Tomura back in the saddle. The logical thing for him to want to do, is to remove the hand he placed on Tomura's face. I don't think this will go down well with AFO, who will kill Spinner. And this will then be Tomura's catalyst to fight against AFO's chokehold on him.

The realization needs to come first. But then he needs to figure out how to get rid of AFO. In order to do that, he needs to find out how AFO is controlling him in the first place --with his hatred. However, getting rid of that hatred is gonna be a huge challenge. For so long, Tomura has had nothing but his hatred to keep him going. Without hatred, what does he have left?

I'm not a Tamaki fan, I like him but I'm not crazy about him, he's a likeable dude. You just want good things for him. But the last panel we saw him and Fat Gum 1 inch away from getting dusted, and I really can't think of a single reason why they shouldn't be dead. So as far as I'm concerned they died and it just wasn't confirmed yet for drama and suspense reasons.

Enji and Rei getting a divorce is... well, I just for the life of me cannot see them continuing their life together. I just can't. Too much has happened, and them trying to pick up their life together feels hella unhealthy. I think it's in both their best interests to get a divorce and get their lives back on the rails. But yes, probably not wise to get a divorce right now. But after some time has passed, yes. In his heart, Enji has already accepted he's not going to be a part of his wife and children's lives anyway.

What is people's obsession with killing off Tamaki?

What did Tamaki ever do to you besides being a good boy?:8C

What do you think of my predictions?

Haha :P It's not that I want Tamaki dead, it's just that I cannot imagine him surviving the decay wave. It was inches away from consuming him and Fat Gum, and we have not seen or heard of them since. I've had to do some severe mindbending to accept that Gran Torino survived, and, well... Considering the absolutely insane scope of destruction of the decay wave, it's hard to believe that only a handful of heroes died-- that we know of. So yeah, I think it's eerily quiet around Tamaki and Fat Gum for a reason. That reason being that they're dead. Neither of them possessed abilities that could have protected them from the decay about to consume them as they were running for their lives.

You mention emotional support a lot in your predictions. What do you mean by that exactly?

Fat Gun and Tamaki weren't up against the decay wave. They were on the total other side of the country. Fat Gum and Tamaki were at the liberation army mansion and were part of the first group of heroes that fought Gigantomachia. What we saw consuming them was Gigantomachia's attack.

By emotional support, I mean that they'd help cheer each other up basically. Its basically characters I think that would try and improve the morale of their students..

Oh darn, really? I completely got that mixed up then. Embarrassing. I did some reading up to see their last appearance and it was in chapter 280, where they appear along with the now dead Majestic and a couple others who are also dead now. Gang Orca's still alive though. Now I'm not so certain of their death anymore, they might be because others in that panel are now also dead, but if they're alive I'm also fine with it. I'll leave my Tamaki is dead prediction for what it is though, I'll get back to it when the current arc is over and I mark my predictions as 'came true' or not :P

All of the students in 1A fulfill that role for each other right?

Of your predictions, Midoriya, Shoto and Bakugo have major roles to play for sure.

Ochaco I'm not so sure of, I see her remaining as a background character. People think she's gonna be Toga's foil, but I don't think so. Their meeting served to propel Toga's arc forward and to give Ochaco the realization that villains are people with feelings and emotions and they don't do bad things for the hell of it. However, I don't think she's gonna confront Midoriya with her feelings. I like that she decided to not let her feelings for him distract her, and instead let them inspire her to become a more capable person herself, to be the best she can be. I think that's great. Making her feelings for Midoriya become a main focus of her arc would be a waste of her character in my opinion. (not that you said it should become her focus, because you didn't, but, well, these are just some thoughts)

You said she could become a support character for the other classmates that were hit hardest emotionally by the war, but honestly I think Ochaco is one of those very classmates. Ochaco worked really hard rescuing people, witnessed heroes losing hope and quitting, saw all the death and destruction. The other students 'only' took on Machia and helped a bit at the mansion. That was tough, sure, and finding Midnight was really rough. But in my opinion it doesn't compare to what Ochaco and Tsuyu went through. Speaking of Tsuyu, we haven't seen any real focus on her, but considering her placid nature it's hard to imagine she was shook by what happened.

I like your thoughts for Tokoyami and Hawks.

I think Mina and Momo will get a bit more time spent on their struggles. Honestly, I think Mina might quit UA, and she might get a heart to heart talk with Kirishima before she leaves. It will be a nice parallel between them: at first Mina is the confident one and Kirishima is the insecure one, and now Mina has lost her confidence and Kirishima has found his. Perhaps Kirishima will inspire her to stay at UA, like Mina inspired him to become a hero when he was younger.

Momo, I'm not sure what kind of arc she'll get exactly. I think she will struggle with Midnight's and Majestic's deaths, who were both her mentors of sorts, but I don't think there'll be much emphasis on her and that she'll regain her confidence in her abilities, her place in the world, and find her role to play relatively quickly.

Yeah, although all the heroes who fought Machia got beaten, only a few of them actually died, Majestic being one of them.

I'd say that Fat Gum and Tamaki are more likely to be seriously hurt than dead.

Yeah, I'd like if Ochaco would take on a bigger role in the class, or at least have some kind of internal conflict after this arc. Considering Ochaco's motivation for becoming a hero, and considering the current situation of heroes in society, I think Ochaco should at least question her career path a little bit. Overall though, Ochaco hasn't really had much going for her character for a long time(most of 1A haven't), so I think the war arc has at least set up a few things for her character to resolve in the future.

Yeah, agree with you on the Ochaco stuff. The classmates were all emotionally effected, some more so than others, and all in different ways. I don't think its really worth comparing the emotional damage they experienced though, as its just sort of enough to say they experienced it in the first place. Class 1A were totally powerless against Gigantomachia. They didn't stop him from despite their best efforts, and were treated like insects not even worth fighting.

I think most of the class would have been effected in some way or another.
I like your thoughts for Tokoyami and Hawks.
I think Hawks at least owes something to Tokoyami, considering Tokoyami saved his life. Although heroes typically don't expect anything for saving lives, I think Hawks would at least feel indebted enough to do something with Tokoyami in the future.
I think Mina and Momo will get a bit more time spent on their struggles. Honestly, I think Mina might quit UA, and she might get a heart to heart talk with Kirishima before she leaves. Perhaps Kirishima will inspire her to stay at UA, like Mina inspired him to become a hero when he was younger.
This is 100% what I had in mind. Like, literally exactly what I was thinking. Kirishima could probably even bring up how watching Mina inspired him to be a hero from before UA.

I think her main thing will just be dealing with the loss of her mentors to go on and become the sort of leader they knew she could become. That's the main thing I see for her.

Now with the War arc over it feels kinda diffiuclt to know were the story will go from here. I wanted to see the kids still be in shcool. Shinso joining and being a true hero (but I still dont like him) but istead we are getting ungrateful masses and heroes retiring? Seems the next cominga rc will be havy on the emotional side of things, which will likely cultivate to a stronger resolve the before for the main characters.
But what happens after that is dififuclt. They need ot lcean up the streets, so next cominga rc will be villian elimination arc? They need the support of people so that need to be dragged into an arc? I wonder if the mangaka sitll intends on having Hisashi Midoriya to be a relevant character so that woul dmean he would come back?
In short I see
Getting back hop arc
Destroying vilian arc
Hisashi return arc?
small timeskip arc
and finally a Final Villian War arc which will finally destroy the quirk of All For One and every single legacy he had.

I'm probably one of the few people who is not interested in meeting Deku's father at all. There's so many other interesting things going on that I'd like the story to focus on.

Yeah, don't understand why people latch onto that.

Besides, All Might is basically his dad.

Maybe its just because of what happened in the anime, but how would people feel if Kirishima fought Dabi?

I feel like that would be an interesting sort of scenario. Kirishima isn't as effected by heat as Tetsutetsu, and aside from Shoto, his one of the few students that withstand Dabi's firepower for a prolonged period of time.

I think that would be a potentially cool fight to have before Shoto fights Dabi again, as I think that Kirishima, although being a lad, would probably get seriously hurt if he fought Dabi head on to do something like protect his classmates.

I think it would be a very Kirishima thing to do, even if the moons need to align correctly for something like that to actually happen in story.

It would be interesting. Kirishima faced Dabi's flames when they were trying to take down machia, right? I can't remember if the fire hurt him. But yeah, he would definitely protect his friends if faced with him.

And hey, it might happen? Kirishima is at UA, so if Dabi is part of an attack on UA, they might encounter each other. No one could have predicted Tokoyami vs Dabi either until it happened.

Actually, didn't think of that about Tokoyami. Yeah, he did face Dabi's flames, but he was fine. I think Kirishima would be a genuinely tough opponent for Dabi, and I think it would be a really cool scene for Kirishima to be shown to be still standing after taking flashfire fist attacks from Dabi.

In saying that, I feel like Kirishima would still lose that fight, and would probably potentially die if he fought someone like Dabi head on for long enough.

I just feel like it could be a really good endurance sort of battle that Kirishima specializes in.

Kirishima is one of the few heroes we've seen with a quirk that can genuinely handle Dabi at close range.

IIRC Vocal Pineapple made Toyoyami vs Dabi connection before it happened. Although it wasn't a fight since he still can't handle opponents that emit strong light and he was a bit panicky trying to prioritize Hawks rescue. If it wasn't for Geten Hawks and Toyoyami would be dead.

Kirishima's biggest problem vs someone like Dabi is range. He was able to run through the stationary flames in the forest fire but would he able to withstand being constantly attacked by them? Not to mention the level of power Dabi displayed after going suicide mode I don't Kirishima stands any chance based on what we have seen. He would need assistance.

Based on what Hori said and seems to be setting up for the finale. I wonder how many 1 vs 1 fights will even be happening.

Yeah, I like the idea of Kirishima fighting Dabi, because I don't think its a fight Kirishima would win, but it would definitely be a fight that would show exactly how tough Kirishima was. Like, in that fight, I'd honestly expect Kirishima to wind up dead if no one intervened.

Like, he definitely has more resistance to getting burnt to death than 90% of his fellow students and class mates, so if Shoto wasn't around, I think Kirishima would be the guy to fight Dabi.

Anyway, I was sort of thinking about this match up after thinking of Shoto and Tetsutetsu's fight. Tetsutetsu was nearly melted, but he gave Shoto a hard time.

I think that it would be a really cool fight if Kirishima got close to someone like Dabi, and continued fighting him, even as Dabi's attacks grew more and more intense.

Again, just me thinking about something that could be cool.

I'm so very curious for what's going to happen!

I expect an attack on UA. I'm also really looking forward to what Dabi's 'going further' will look like. "So I didn't go far enough..." How is he going to take it further? What could he do to demoralize Enji, to hurt him even more? I think the answer is that he'll make it much more personal and go after his immediate family. Rei, Fuyumi, Natsuo, Shoto. And they are at UA.

UA is a crowded hub at the moment, filled with civilians and hero students. A successful attack on UA would be the death stab to hero society.

So then I'm wondering... is the UA attack going to happen before the end, or will it be the site of the final arc?
I hope it will be something that happens before the final arc.

Yeah, I want the UA attack idea to actually happen personally, but I could also see Deku getting captured by the villains being the impetus for the students to get involved(in a similar, but more active fashion than say when Bakugo got kidnapped).
