[Jump's editorial department sweating in despair]

I don't understand why he should care, so much with all the things he's doing and Kimetsu the Shueisha will be okay for the next 10 years and beyond.Nak:
It's hard to tell he was kind of vague on itDidn't Horikoshi also recently say MHA is approaching the conclusion?
Speaking of this, what happened to that 1 million dollar thing or 6M yen thingy, where 6 series would be chosen and would instantly get an anime and some loads of more perks?jump should really get animes going sooner rather than later, amd more and more manga ending sooner might mean they need to cut series that arent instahits way sooner than they currently do. Perhaps sub 16chp series is the solution.
When was such a thing announced and what were the options for it?Meh mashle, for LCP and cover, cover was unique I guess but I wanted badass esk.

No he didn't. He said that Academia is ending. There is going to be more after of course.Didn't Horikoshi also recently say MHA is approaching the conclusion?
Depending on how much longer One Piece takes to end with it's slow pacing frequent breaks, we may well see Black Clover become the new longest running series in a few years (since we know Tabata is happy to keep it going as long as Naruto if Jump allows it).

The "Part 2" thing from 2016 was a troll. He never said that. A translator just added that to an interview and it spread like wildfire before it was debunked. No he didn't. He said that Academia is ending. There is going to be more after of course.
Thinking he mentioned he was gonna do a part 2 way 2016? Can't really remember![]()
Either way its ot nearing its conclusion. Anyone that it paying attention to the story can see that. We are probably at a half way point. Unless the story goes at a crazy fast pace from this point onwards I don't see it ending for at least another 4 years. Thats not "nearing" its conclusionThe "Part 2" thing from 2016 was a troll. IIRC the full "leak" even said that Horikoshi was naming the sequel "My Hero Academia Part 2: Electric Boogaloo"
really? wasnt BLeach announced to be nearing its conclusion upwards of 4 years in advance?Either way its ot nearing its conclusion. Anyone that it paying attention to the story can see that. Horikoshi himself said the manga will be"reaching its conclusion soon". I doubt he would just randomly throw that out there if he didn't believe the story was reaching it's conclusion soon, and it was actually only halfway there. Sure, it COULD go on longer than expected and last 4 years. But that is just fan speculation on how they think things.Either way its ot nearing its conclusion. I thought all our exorcism series are pretty edgy, people getting killed, tons of dismemberment, lots of blood, unhappy outcomes, etc.Does anyone think we will get another CSM ultra edgy type series
In WSJ there is Undead Unluck, which is already edgy and very violent, does not reach the same level of chainsaw, but it works.Does anyone think we will get another CSM ultra edgy type series in the future considering the recent trend in dark fantasy or maybe jump even dive into the death game genre like shonen magazine and bessatsu shonen magazine did a while back as a replacement of the promised neverland. Idk I feel jump needs a new thriller/dark hero manga for both diversity reasons and for a “can’t wait to read the next issue” type of manga. Idk I feel jump would benifit from that.
Also feel jump should do another romcom series even tho I am not a fan romcoms have been blowing up in shonen magazines in recent years so I think it would benifit from it.
Finally I feel for business purposes they should do more samurai vs monster type manga.I have seen some incredible one shots of this subgenre that would definitely fill the demon slayer gap,

It is what we always complain that One Piece and the works of Hiro Mashima were missing.I thought all our exorcism series are pretty edgy, people getting killed, tons of dismemberment, lots of blood, unhappy outcomes, etc.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Gege extended it at least an extra year though. MHA to me, seems to look like it could end in 3 years, tops. MHA would end around its 10th anniversary, and OP for all we know could end by then too. So yeah, Nak is pissing himself right now.INB4 Nak decides to push PS after all this time
For real tho, that means we've got around 2 more years of JJK, makes me wonder how will the magazine be by the time it comes
Nah, I give it 3 years at least. I get the feeling Horikoshi wants to at least reach the 10-year mark/500-chapter mark.Horikoshi himself said the manga will be"reaching its conclusion soon". I doubt he would just randomly throw that out there if he didn't believe the story was reaching it's conclusion soon, and it was actually only halfway there. This isn't a MHA thread, so i'm not gonna write full details; but MHA isn't such a vast story that can't get wrapped up in a little over 100 chapters.(Maybe 100-130ish chapters).
I'm not saying it won't last 4 years. And obviously it won't suddenly end within the next year. But 2 more years(like JJK) seems pretty realistic, and it seems like Horikoshi definitely wants to wrap it up soon
