When will the batch be revealed. Also I would like a battle manga with similar horror elements and maybe (low possibility) a dancing or video gaming spokon, and another mystery/thriller manga (since i tell c is clearly not doing good).

Leakers are probably waiting until tomorrow so that they can pass off a fake serialization round as an April Fool's joke.
That way we might be fooled when they tell us Hunter Hunter is coming back

Well, guess I can insert my foot directly into my mouth considering I thought PS had another couple of chapters left. I don’t have much more to say on it otherwise. It’s a damn shame. I still don’t think editorial bias is the whole picture, but at this point it’s fruitless to speculate over that anymore.

I didn’t expect Blue Box already but seems like it was bound to be serialized eventually so hopefully it works out. So it’s a two series batch like I called, but earlier than I thought it would be, though we can still get another two batch relatively closely, maybe around May-June. If that’s what happens I think it will be Cop and Dolphin (which might miraculously live this round because series end in chronological order most of the time) and a U19 ending, probably i tell c. As for what’s ending to make way for the second series in this batch, Build King seems all but guaranteed. What an embarrassment of a flop for a veteran, probably the second worst in recent history besides Samurai 8 considering how Shimabukuro had two relatively successful series beforehand. Perhaps this sounds harsh, but while I sympathize with fans of the series, I have a hard time feeling bad for Shimabukuro himself honestly. It seems like he just wasn’t prepared for this serialization at all, he probably got back in at least partially because of his good graces with Oda and such, and frankly...well, we know what he did, no need to go deep into that. It’s probably time for him to stop getting chances from WSJ.

I think whoever suggested changes from what the one-shot was to what we got for the serialization is to blame, also they took too long.

Is Jujutsu Kaisen absent in #18? I don't see it in the TOC....

I still maintain my opinion on. PS, it was a wrong decision, especially when there are other Manga with worse sales and that don't grow.

Regarding build king, I think they could extend the ending, at least until they see how the first volume will be sold and then cancel the manga in June.

I don't think Build king has anything else to offer, but Corp and doulphin is also in the same situation, only he's more dead than build king.

Lol, a veteran with two decades of experience and two huge hits should stop being considered for serialization after this flop and I suppose the 20 year old scandal that nobody cares about besides a few new readers online? He will be back soon after BKs imminent cancellation. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to his comedy roots, considering this battle flop and Jump's ongoing quest for the new gag mega hit. His post Toriko one shots show that he's still got his unique brand of crude comedy, although most jokes in BK missed the mark.

Use deepl. It translates much better from Japanese than google translate.

It doesn't really matter, since all of the series with worse sales will be gone eventually.

An extra 100K doesn't mean much to Shueisha when JJK sells 1M a week. What matters more right now is long-term stability, and Nak must not have believed Phantom Seer was capable of that.

I'm sad to see it go, but it is what it is. This simply confirms that it wasn't as popular with WSJ's target audience as it should have been. It would have been best for the duo if they transferred to Jump+, but that didn't happen, as unfortunate as it is.

All we can do now is hope that the series that replace it bring even more success to the magazine.

The same should apply to Roboko's 32K or Magu and HSF sales. But in any case they continue and have nothing more to do.

And it is better for this ban the WSJ exorcism manga because of JJK. With the sales of JJK the most sensible option is to look for series with this same style, after all it has a strong audience.

Interesting, when you search アメノフル (supposedly the name of the second new series' author) on google images the first thing that pops up is an i tell c banner from the jump site. So maybe the new series are already listed there, just not public yet???

The first thing in fact is 雨の降る. It is the same phrase but in hiragana and kanji. It meanst "Its raining"

I don't really know what you're getting at, since my point was it didn't matter if it sold decently because it ranked poorly in the TOC. Even if it was popular, it seems it wasn't popular among the people WSJ wanted to sell it to. Me & Roboco and Magu continue to rank pretty well, so they will probably survive until they drop into the bottom five.

I will never forget you, Phantom Seer. You were an enigma wrapped in a mystery.

If translations are correct, it’s an American Football series apparently
That's really exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing the art style.

Then again, two sports-themed series at once? Maybe this is the year of spokons.
