Ring ran in Super Jump.
I looked for more information about it, but it seems it was a flop (only three volumes).

Again, I think Shima's career is not over as he still has a lot of creative ideas, but a change of magazine may be the best for him.

A really strong chapters in this issue.

Great:
One Piece
- great stuffs, Zoro is the MVP.
Sakamoto Days - such a badass chapter. Hope he joins the squad.
Kowloon's Ball Parade - so far, so good. The new shortstop guy is hilarious. Please, Japan readers, let it stay.

Good:
The Elusive Samurai
- the best chapter in a while imo.
Witch Watch - lol at the Demon Slayer reference. The Tengu guy and Moi interactions are fun and now the enemy appears?
Build King - nice chapter, but with the rumours of it ending next week. Well, it was expected, but it's a pity, because it had much greater potential.

Meh:
I tell C

Those number all seem quite low. Maybe it was a weak week overall, maybe we are dealing with a bit of underestimation.
Sakamoto does 7.5k, which is most comparable with Undead's 7.6k for its first volume (both 3 days). Not bad performance, but a bit disappointing, personally.
Both Roboco and Niraikanai have made about half of what they did with their previous volumes but with one less day. Agravity has also done half of its last 3-day volume (vol 3), though that's dead so maybe it's expected.

If these numbers aren't underestimated, that's a HUGE drop for Roboco, Cop & Dolphin and Agravity
I think this drop can actually put Roboco in danger if it doesn't go back to its previous numbers with its next volume, just imagine the next volume selling even less, after all that marketing... I know Nak loves gag manga, but it would be even lower than Agravity's pre-axe volumes, which is definitely not enough to assure long term survival

Thought Sakamoto Days was the new hotness. Hopefully Shoseki is just really wrong this week.

I'm reading on social media that all Jump volumes (so including MHA, BC etc.) had distribution issues over the weekend in several areas in Japan. Might be the issue that caused such a sales week. That should be confirmed with Oricon's Top 50 list, with all the big sellers also coming in lower than expected. Another indicator of this is that on Honto some Jump volumes had a sudden surge (2.5D, Roboco, Slave and Sakamoto suddenly returning back to Top 100 and high positions) on April 5 (Monday) per https://honto.jp/ranking/gr/bestseller_1101_1201_011_029004000000.html

If that's true, Week 2 will be a better thing to wait for then.

It ran for about a year (chapter every other week), so it's kind of in that Robot x Lazerbeam, Samurai 8 ballpark.
Definitely a flop compared to other successful veteran returns, but not one right out of the gate like say Chagecha, or Raimei no Zaji (or maybe I'm confusing it with Silent Knight Sho),

Is it true there is HXH news in this WSJ issue? (Or is it the next one)?

These Shoseki numbers a bizarrely off, AB selling less than 3k? nah, curious to see the numbers for Oricon if the big sellers were affected, i already can see the annoying hate bait comments about Black Clover dropping and blah blah blah -_-

Not much of a surprise about JJK and Neverland, JJK just recently became big and Neverland was never more popular than Kingdom, is a actual surprise being above OP.

Kingdom is big in print too, outselling One Piece in the 2020 sales by series chart (but still behind KnY ofc), it's just that the series is almost completely overlooked in the western fandom at large.
