Roboco's sales is much better than Magu and HSF.It's probably going to axe one of this gag mangas .
Build King and Phantom Seer continue to prove that sales don't matter for survival in the magazine.

Candy Flurry went exactly as I predicted, it started around the middle and dropped to the very bottom on ch 10. I feel like we've had a few series like that lately.

I wonder if we'll see Balls Parade end next week and just have a smaller number of series for a while again, or if it will actually continue for one more round. It's been rushing so much that it's hard to imagine it not ending, but it's possible it was rushing through all the build up so it could spend more time on the finals (like how Toriko skipped a bunch secondary plots near the end of to get straight to the final arc).

It's also odd to see Roboco so low down but personally I think it's had some very weak chapters recently, so perhaps Japanese readers might feel the same way?

I Tell C lasted much longer than I thought it would. The premise never really lent itself to serialization so it understandable that it got cancelled in my opinion. Candy Flurry getting dropped to the bottom is worrying, but I hope that it can find a foothold. I've been liking the recent chapters, and while I don't think they're great, they're definitely more enjoyable than the average axed series. Nine Dragons feels like the next on the chopping block, unless something crazy happens.

Rip i tell c, kinda pathetic to think it's ending on this current case

So I tell C is gonna be your typical open ending

I'm honestly surprised candy flurry is last, the recent few ch has been the best for series and its not even bad. It's OK at best

Huh, so isnt going to end next week too, i dont remember seeing a axed series ever being in the preview with the last chapter, seems like is indeed surviving this round or at least some few weeks.

I'm not worried anymore especially when it was on TV recently with mashle it have too much promotion for it to get axe. I do believe undead unluck is not going to be a long series either.
I'm not worried about it getting axed either but I am disappointed it remains so low in TOC popularity because it either means it doesn't have the votes from its fans to stay on top or that the editors decided it isn't worth to be in the higher ranks compared to other series. Also it depends on what you see as a "long" series. I could see UU easily getting to 200 chapters due its whole loop [/ISPOILER plot-line. Ofc if the mangaka were to decide to end everything in this particular loop then it could end in like 40 chapters, maybe ten more. I kinda doubt it will though, because this whole set-up screams for a continuation. Gotta hope the sales do rise at least to give WSJ less reason to get rid of it next year.

I tell c ending after the most recent chapter feeling like filler is especially odd, but I'll take it over Nine Dragons' Ball Parade (though I think the shoe has well and truly dropped on this one as well) - whether it survives a whole other round or not might make for a somewhat less rushed ending overall. If Burn the Witch 2 was ready to go this would be the perfect time to have it start as well with JJK on hiatus.

Anyway, I'm not going to miss I tell c one bit, and not shocking to see Candy Flurry become the next fodder in dead last place. It and Nine Dragons are for sure next on the chopping block when the time comes. Me & Roboco however is a shame since this is its lowest ranking its ever had. The only time it was in the bottom 5 was #46 last year, which was kind an off-issue anyway since three of the regular bottom series at that point (Agravity Boys, Magu-chan, We Never Learn) all got CPs that so everything looked strange. Both Magu-chan and High School Family have gotten spots like this multiple times in the past and the overall average placements still favour Roboco so it'll be interesting to see if this is a trend or they'll just be taking turns in their positions.

Build King and Phantom Seer continue to prove that sales don't matter for survival in the magazine.
Build King and Phantom Seer were both in the bottom of the rankings pretty much their entire run, so not an apt comparison for Me & Roboco which has been the highest ranking gag manga in the magazine with this week being the exception to its usual position.

Really looking forward to reading Red Hood!

Phantom seer was and remains an injustice, after all volume 3 sold much more than other series.

And while other manga continue to sell poorly and are stagnant.

I do hope Nine Dragons Kowloon's Ball Parade will survive another round. Just give us one satisfying match and it can still go down as a decent if short series.

Undead Unlock continues to be worrying. Hope it gets an anime announcement soon to save it.
There is so much that will be axed before it’s in trouble. It was fine this batch and probably has 2 more of being safe since usually each batch has a dud then candy flurry, one of the gags and NDBP all will go before.
Probably has 40-60 chapters of leeway (20 per batch)

Just wow! 11'000,000 copies in circulation for Spy x Family

Edit: 11,070,000 copies, to be more precise.
is Black Clover considered a success? it has near the same in circulation ( 12 million). seems pretty low given its popularity

its not a big hit or pillar or anything but its a success, the anime especially seems to get good viewership outside of japan and manga does decent in sales (150K+ fm)

obviously its nothing compared to sxf which could hit kimetsu tier with a good adapation imo

Getting 150+ anime episodes, a movie, a console game, a mobile game, multiple light novels, a spinoff, and being one of tv tokyo top properties for several quarters, in addition to selling 12 mln volumes is definitely considered a success.

Do you guys know why Shueisha doesn't release worldwide circulation numbers more often for series? We got recently BC with 15 million and MHA with 50 million but in case for other series like Haikyuu it never got worldwide numbers and many other series, is it because Shueisha doesn't want to or the number isnt big enough for them to make the announcement 🤔

yeah just wondering bc 12 mil kinda sounds low given how popular it is in other areas
