Your explanation isnt correct because Red Riding Hood is already so old, is a folk tale, and there is no owner of such property so thus its why there can be so many properties with the same name.

Welli doubt they’d get sued for “Little Red Riding Hood” itself, since its open domain. But they could potentially get sued by DC Comics, and Warner Bros for the comic book character Red Hood,

but in my second statement, I’d imagine naming new series some variation of Little Red Riding Hood would be search algorithm hell

Good point on the legal issues, though rather than Little Red Riding Hood hood itself, maybe it's to avoid the DC comics character Jason Todd/Red Hood, considering he has his own title on occasion maybe they did it so as to not potentially confuse booksellers or something.

It seems like Viz is in a competition with itself to create the worst translated name, just a overcomplicated generic title, it would be like "The Magic Guild: Fairy Tail" lol

Not even going to bother with the "The Hunter Guild" just going to call it Red Hood.

It's almost certainly because of the DC Comics Red Hood, there's no way DC would ever let a different comic series titled Red Hood exist in the US. They had to change the title somehow.

There was another reprint for previous PS volumes after vol 3 came out, dated May 12th 2021. Says at the back of the books "6th printing" for vol 1 and "4th printing" for vol 2.

There is certainly some demand there.

Difference is those immediately transferred, they didn't have months where they were already cancelled. Their final chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump said they'd be continuing in Jump Next or Jump Live. Phantom Seer's final chapter said it was done.

I dont think it will happen with Phantom Seer but Jump did bring back 2 axed series years ago, first was Kiruko-san, it got axed on WSJ but due its online popularity got a 1 volume sequel on Jump Live, original name of Jump Plus, and iShoujo that was axed on WSJ but got a full sequel on Plus that lasted 14 volumes, this one that was also popular online, but one was a comedy and the other a ecchi series, so it was a lot easier to bring back without being confusing.

on one hand Kudou doesn't need an artist & Fushimi doesn't need a writer
on the other at least it's a new oneshot so they're active

shouldnt they have already been replaced weeks ago though.

we havent had crowds since the start of this new arc, I should see if they look that different than before to see if there was an art shift.
