Ofc not trying to doom UU since this is just the placement numbers and there is context and etc behind each vol start but it does fit the current narrative of the series dropping a bit in popular, Yozakura also never been so close to UU like this time, only 4 places behind, let's see how it will do in the weekly one and in the next days.

The rest as said, doing a LOT better than their last release, even i tell c, curious if the next 2 days the series will have some big drops or will be able to hold well.

Damn, who is the editor that allowed this? I enjoyed the first chapter and I'm dying to see successful action manga, but that color page gives off meek vibes. Second color page should either focus on characters, world building or charm. I don't want to be hurt again. Hopefully Nebu doesn't disappoint.

The author keep it loyal how fairy tales are drawn in the old books. From his early works, I didn't expect high quality digital accessories to begin with .

I don't mind the color palette, my issue is that the color page is just a normal page of the manga but just colored. It does nothing to entice readers, the second chapter color page should work as a title page.

Great:
Sakamoto Days - Sakamoto Badass Mode On. Great fight!
The Elusive Samurai - Great chapter! Dope conclusions of the fights! TES just keeps getting better and better.
One Piece - What a shocking end of this chapter.
Red Hood - That was a great 1st chapter with exceptional art work. It has a lot of potential.

Good:
Blue Box - A real rival on the horizont? Haryu teasing Taiki is as hilarious as ever.
Kowloon's Ball Parade - Hibuse meets what our boys got up in their sleeves. Good strategy and new technique there.

Fine:
Witch Watch - Those YT comments were spot on.
Candy Flurry - The antagonist shows up? Poor Misaki though.

Meh:
I tell C - Well, still meh till the very end. Can't say I'll miss this manga.

About ToC #31:
When I just thought that Kowloon's Ball Parade will stay with us for at least one more round... Such a pity and a wasted potential. Things doesn't look good for Candy Flurry too. Witch Watch and The Elusive Samurai are the survivors of the 1st pack of new entries for the year.

I was very dissapointed with the first few chapters but it really grew on me. It's a very good mix of historical and battle shounen. As it gets into large scale tactical battles it will probably be even more awesome.

Also I looked into the real history of the wars and the people in the story and unless Matsui radically changes the actual events, this manga will have a reeaally interesting ending.

Similar for me, i read week 2 week for the first 5 or so chapters and it didn't do much for me so i dropped it but i binged it last week and its really grown on me

The battles are really cool, they almost feel like videogame boss battles in how they're composed.

I don't like the Priest or all his future references at all, but the current arc doesn't have him around so it's been great recently.

Weird choice of color page to use here. Like it makes sense if the previous chapter ended on a cliffhanger where a "character from the past makes a surprising return" or something but here, it just feels unexciting. However, there is something to salvage here mainly being if she looks like an adult still or back to looking like a little kid.

Yeah the Red Hood color pages are kind of underwhelming, which is a shame because I really liked the color page for the one shot.
