It's good to see Undead finally getting away from the bottom for a bit. HSF on the other hand isn't doing so good, if this drop sticks it'll be in real danger.

Also Ayakashi Triangle being even below Candy Flurry is curious to see, I really wonder what'll happen to it long term, I feel like it should be fine with it's decent and consistent sales compared to recent veteran flops that started well and with it being the sole current fanservice manga but you never know in current jump.

It's probably just the nature of the current ToC, we do have 2 unranked new series an and empty spot from Balls Parade ending after all. We've only really got the one total flop right now (maybe 1.5 with HSF which I can't imagine lasting too much longer) so everything's going to look a bit odd for a while.

Also on a random note since we're talking about anime speculation, part of me wonders if the reason Magu-chan's gotten a bunch of sudden promotion and not Roboco (which is the better selling and placing gag manga) is because it has some anime interest behind the scenes.

I could definitely see Magu-chan getting more attention from anime producers. Roboco with it's weird art and heavy focus on references is the type of series that doesn't get a normal anime, but Magu-chan is essentially a cute rural life series (which is a fairly popular genre lately) and has a bunch of very marketable cute little monsters that could sell lots of merchandise.

I doubt it'd be anything concrete yet but perhaps something like a studio inquiring about doing one as long as it sticks around. Hence Jump really wants to help it grow and survive, since they see strong future potential.

Rise for UU makes sense, I expect a color page soon (though I've been calling one for a while and it hasn't happened yet). Feels like it's been a hot minute.

Anyways, I wouldn't read too deeply into ToC right now except for Candy Flurry and possibly High School Family if a bottom 3 lock sticks. With so many unranked series and the previous bottom 3 locks out of the magazine it's bound to be volatile down there for a while. I am starting to wonder if HSF will make anniversary or get axed right around it is we saw with Agravity Boys and Cop and Dolphin. It might get past it if only Candy Flurry gets axed. If it does make anniversary and gets no special treatment, I think we'll know the eventual outcome.

I think if I were to outright agree with you it would come too much from a place of extreme bias rather than any reason. But you are correct in that the sudden push is weird considering how far into the series we are. The most comparable situation is probably Yozakura after its one year anniversary, but that was after a year of growing steadily in sales despite being basically ignored. Magu has been flat as a board in sales for 4 volumes now (or 3 as far as they're concerned, since it's not like they coordinated all this in the few weeks between volume 4 and anniversary). True, it's always had a small but fervent fanbase, but just a little over a month ago I was convinced it was an August/September axe and that's almost certainly not the case now. The poll results aren't even being announced until December for some reason when polls with undoubtedly more votes had results out faster, and it's been stated that the results will be published within WSJ itself and in subsequent volumes, so presumably it'd still be running then.

FWIW, the official Jump Line account portal bot has added Magu into their rotations of icons at the bottom, which switch out every few months or so but I certainly haven't seen any quick axes in my research of what it used to look like. It's not much, but just another piece of evidence indicative that they are at least trying to make the franchise more visible. Who knows, could mean something in the long run or could be another Samon. It's actually eerily similar to Samon in that one of the animation producers at WIT Studio of all studios indirectly recommended it. (Along with, as an aside, the mangaka of Boarding School Juliet and Shangri-La Frontier; should it have been with Kodansha all along? :P) In any case, it's not going anywhere for now. Might even get a pretty clean, natural-feeling ending if it stays until around Q1 2022; given the real time pacing it really isn't a series that's built to run forever in the first place.

I'm curious if the Neverland duo's new thing is just a oneshot or if it's a mini-series. It being a mini-series would explain 3 series getting axed last round despite only having 2 new series.

senseless, don't understand how Sakamoto Days, Elusive Samurai, and Mashle are that low.
I said this last week, but Jump is pretty obviously rotating series between the top and bottom of the TOC. Some series (TES, BB) jump around the top half, others (AyaTri, Magu) jump around the bottom half, but for the most part UU, Mashle, Sakamoto, and WW can find themselves anywhere on the magazine and it isn't a surprise. It doesn't mean any of them are in danger.

In reality, the fact that so many series are bouncing in and out of the bottom five is only proof that the bottom five doesn't represent failing series right now. With the sole exception of Candy Flurry, which seems locked into the axe-zone.

I feel like every week people say "I guess ___ is getting axed" or "___ not looking so good... etc." No. Sakamoto's five most recent TOC ranks have been 5-10-7-7-11. And before Mashle's last cover, its five most recent ranks were 5-4-7-8-6. There's nothing unusual about this week's TOC. Everything will go back up. Just like how WW was 11 last week and now it's 6 again. Just like how M&R was 13 in Issue #30 and it was 5 again just one week later.

I don't think anything is in actual danger until its been in the bottom for three weeks in a row. One week in the bottom five means nothing right now.

Hope Jump at least give ayakashi a color page for the 1st birthday
You saw the double-spread, but the full celebration was actually a consecutive color pages in issues #27 and #28. There wasn't much else, but that alone was pretty nice for a series that usually flies under the radar.

Stop talking about magu ending, the series is going to boost and last more than 100+ chapters

And the Toc even this week is really short
