After the Wano arc will get questions solved for what happened to Sabo / Vivi / Hancock. However we won't know how things will turn out for them after. Once the crew reads the news paper and find this news out they'll I assume want to see for themselves. I do think the team will split up again sadly as too many of their friends need help at this moment. Now for me the biggest question is since Oda hinted that Hancock's fate will be pretty dark or something along those lines. Maybe taken to prison that Ace was taken to, I just hope she doesn't get taken back to those creeps she escaped from in the first place, would Oda do that to her? She's pretty popular world wide and Luffy cares so much for her. I assume he'd rescue her first as he would belive Sabo is too strong to end up like Ace. What do you guys think? In my opinion this ones more unpredictable than the other two but that's me.

I believe Imu did something to the Nefertari.

The Nefertari did not join the remaining 19 kings when the World Government was formed. Imu either wants them dead, or to get some information.

Whatever happened, the World Government managed to shift the blame to Sabo. He may not necessarily have been captured, but that story already affects the revolutionaries.

As for Hancock, it's another story. The Marines tried to capture the former Shichibukai.

At very least, she's no longer on Amazon Lily, and is back at being an active pirate.

Technically, the 3 of them could be on Impel Down... but I don't think we will be getting a second Impel Down arc.

The Marines would have to assemble the entire Navy (including all 3 admirals + 10,000,000 PX units) to even make Hancock sweat.

Hancock will be fine

the new pacifistas may be a game changer though...they could use Kizaru's, Aokiji's and Akainu's abilities while numbering in 10s to fight Hancock...

It is odd that they feel they don't suddenly need WarLords now. I bet Crocodile / Jimbei / Law are happy they left that position. Your theory would make sense or I don't they would drop them, other than Buggy they wouldn't have that kind of confidence to take the other two down at best, those two really strong. I hope Hancock will be ok I'm worried for her the most.

Personally I don't think the marines have that good a chance of handling hancock. It would take substantial resources to defeat her... Add to that, her ability is absurdly dangerous. All it takes is for her to even show up at the battlefield and half the marines there will immediately be turned to stone. Even without that odds are it would take at a minimum one of the stronger vice admirals around or perhaps even an admiral to handle her in direct combat. Add to that her highly poisonous sea kings which allow the kuja to traverse the calm belt... I suppose a buster call could be seriously annoying but the kuja would still have a substantial home field advantage. It's basically canon balls against haki imbued arrows...

The main issue the marines would face in general is how thinly stretched they are currently. They definitely need big names to take on any shichibukai at least.

The new pacifista are definitely stronger though it's hard to imagine that they've improved to the point where a dozen or two could take on a shichibukai. The original generation of pacifista was a threat to rookies but otherwise easily one shotable by anyone with a name. If it was a straight army of them then perhaps this would be more of a fight but even then if a platoon of pacifista can take on hancock then its hard to imagine there being someone they can't handle...

Werent the original pacifistas rolled out the first time in Shabondy? So they were not only rookies, they were beta versions. What we do know is that they showed tremendous resilience, incorporated Kizaru's laser and the body type of Kuma. Kuma replicant was easy since his body was already cyborged and they had a template...
The fact that they think this generation is capable of getting rid of the shichibukai has a lot of implications. First one being warlords are not required which is why they are chasing them, but it also means WG now has 2 of the three powers in them.
Atleast the very least, all the pacifistas in their control will equal in power to the 7 shichibukai combined. But when you consider Mingo, Law and Kuma are out of commission as shichibukai, the pacifistas will definitely win over.

So Hancock is definitely a goner. The next targets would be the Yonko.

I think Hancock will be captured, experimented upon and perhaps even learn to replicate her abilities. If Kizaru and Kaido can be duplicated, why not Hancock's abilities.
The way shichibukai's can merge out victorious is they are assisted by someone else. Hancock's case, considering that she's located in the calm belt, i doubt anyone will show up so easily, we may see Rayleigh come to save her but cant think of anyone else.

I could see yonko being target next, this new type of justice wouldn't want to work with pirates like the past did. Than again the higher ups respect Shanks right? Or they could wait for an oppertuinty to get rid of him but Shanks I really think has his own goal and morals beyond them any ways.

I don't want any thing like that to happen to her, dang. I really want Luffy to save her, I don't think he would leave her like that once he reads about it in the news paper.

Eh, I think that Oda's statement is probably super exaggerated. She'll be in a tough situation probably, but I doubt she'll be in need of saving. Probably just be on the run like the rest of the Shichibukai.

Impel Down 2.0 would just take too much time and, according to that same interview, we'd be entering the final part of the series. It'd make more sense if everyone was just on the run and headed towards the final island at the same time.

Personally I think this will fall in line with what the yonko have been doing over the past few years. Kaido's and big mom's arms race concerns them raising literal armies. Kaido's strategy centered around smile users. Big mom's strategy as far as we saw concerned the vinsmoke cloning tech and giants. Both were going for quantity over quality basically (though the base for these armies was substantially higher than average). With the pacifista the situation is likely comparable so the question remains how many the world government has, specially considering that pacifista are in fact expensive. 10? 20? I don't think that's enough to change the world's tide. 100? That's interesting.

Something I thought about while writing this... It's entirely possible, and perhaps reasonable, that the updated pacifista are not even individually stronger than they were before. Scenarios are endless but in general I think there are two possibilities:

1.- The new pacifista are plainly stronger than the original ones.
2.- The new pacifista are weaker than the originals... but also cheaper and more quickly to mass produce (and still have lasers).

Other scenarios are plausible of course (say, the pacifista now are stronger, dirt cheap and easy to mass produce) but these seem like the more reasonable ones.

I wouldn't rule out hancock. To me she was probably the second strongest shichubukai of the original generation (after mihawk). Add to that even if the marines were after her her abilities are BS and had the home field advantage.

A pacifista cost as much as a battleship

Luffy said with 100 million they could buy a second-hand ship bigger than the Sunny, and 200 million was enough to built the Thousand Sunny. A battleship most likely cost just a few hundred millions.

That's a considerable amount for an individual, but not for a government. See how many airships the US government has.

In Marineford, the government used 20 Pacifista units. Since they wanted to show their strength to the world, I presume they used most units they have.

However, I doubt they could mass produce them by the time, especially considering they were prototypes. They were not limited by money, but by the trouble of producing them.

The new Pacifistas are more powerful

Considering the old models had Kizaru's lasers, and all the talk about the "lineage factor" from Germa, by this point I think it's kinda obvious that the new Pacifistas will probably have different Devil Fruit abilities.

I dont think the economics of OP is described enough to theorize #2 any further. Considering that they stage ridiculously high bounties and the lack of bounty hunters in the grandline makes it hard to justify this. It would be interesting though.

I think the discussion between Fujitora and GreenBull kinda suggests that they are stronger, combined with VA and other people of strength. He explicitly mentioned that the abolishment of the warlords would tilt the balance of power in favor of the marines...

If #2 is true, and pacifistas are weaker, then Hancock is definitely a winner.

Sure, but that doesn't mean it couldn't play a hand into future developments. Point is, there are more than a few ways this could have gone.

Well, not really. If the new pacifista are weaker but cheaper then the question would be how many of them hancock can fend off. Picture 100 weaker pacifista firing lasers from battleships compared to 10 regular ones firing lasers. It really depends. Also

Yeah, I remember that bit. And definitely, a world government would have funds for anything. Though even for them the decision would be ultimately on what is more effective.

I would make the point that what sentoumaru says there can actually be weirdly ambiguous regarding the pacifista's strength. He just says the pacifista's strength is the same as it was 2 years ago.

If the bolded part is your reasoning, then Luffy will prioritize saving Vivi instead of Hancock since Vivi is the weakest amongst those three and he knows it.

Going based off of what we saw it sounds like whatever happened already did. That means all That's left is the Strawhat's to search for clues if they assume she's a live. Luffy would find out if Hancock does get caught is a live just being taken to the spot Ace was. Luffy owes Hancock his life, I would think he would be filled with guilt too since she accepted the postion for him in the first place. That's why I'm thinking the gang will split up again. One being team search to look for Vivi and see what happened. The other team rescue Hancock.

100 Pacifistas weaker than the ones in Marinfold? Hancock took down the marinfold Pacifistas with ease... Plus lets not forget that Hancock has a strong crew, as well as a tribe full of strong warriors with many of them capable of Haki. numbers game wont work, they will need strength.
