Fight at Dressrosa.
imo, pica beats queen. You need a large ranged attack to stop pica assimilating on the ground and i don't see queen to do that so far

Queen has Pacifista-like laser beams which is a good start.

Now, even if Queen was unable of destroying Pica's rock body: how can Pica injure Queen or take him out of commission? In a battle of endurance between two people who can't really damage eachother, I think Pica would run out of stamina before Queen goes down.

I can't see Pica doing anything to Queen. Kinda difficult fruit but in terms of strength Pica is leagues weaker than Queen.

pica was not phased from barrage of cannon beams. Laser beams seem to be stronger but don't see it to make that much different.
I mean, pica kept throwing attacks continuously on dressrosa arc. Not to mention that he always can hide underground if he's running out of stamina, while this is not an option for queen

Queen's stamina, by hype alone, should be above Jack's, who has huge feats, and so should his resilience, which means Pica in that regard is screwed. I don't see Pica being strong enough to injure Queen even if he's in his giant statue form. In fact, if they were to clash attacks, I see Pica's statue losing limbs.

Consider that the Zoro that's in the current fight on Onigashima is stronger than he was when he demolished Pica, and Queen, even if weaker than Zoro, is already handling his attacks better. Back then, Pica's haki was already totally helpless against Zoro's. Queen's physical feats on Big Mom are pretty solid too and he still has cybory things and swordsmanship left to show off.

And now that I think about it, most importantly: are we also taking into account Queen's biological weapons? They're part of his arsenal after all and Pica doesn't have Chopper around to heal him from whatever Queen has cooked up.

I see Pica being capable of surviving a match against Queen by running away in due time, but not defeating Queen. Meanwhile, I don't see Queen needing to run away to survive the encounter.

Do we really need to debate and explain how an emperor's commander beats one of Doflamingo's lackeys? At some point common sense and portrayal are enough.

We don't need to debate anything, these threads are just for fun hypothetical matchups. Nothing is needed if we don't want to partake in them.

Queen is definitely stronger than Pica, but yes, it can be debated whether he can take Pica down or not in a fair fight because Pica is a special kind of fighter and not just a brute force brawler. Powers in One Piece many times don't work in a linear way like Dragon Ball.

That being said, Pica doesn't become stone, he just hides in it, and he somehow breathes in it, so I don't think he becomes immune to gases.

Assuming all lasers are created equally, Queen would make Swiss cheese out of Pica's stones quite easily. If it's not Wapol Metal, it's going to be pierced/melted/exploded.

The only thing you can potentially argue is that the fight would be prolonged due to Queen not having shown CoO to pinpoint Pica immediately. But unless you also want to argue that Pica's stones pack the same wallop as Big Mom's physical attacks, he hasn't shown anything that makes me think he can even harm Queen.

Yeah, Pica not having anything at all to injure Queen really makes it so he can't win the fight. But can he be taken down by means other than having him run out of stamina?

Pica's stone creations regenerate "wounds", so making small holes into it with the laserbeams ("small" relatively to its size) doesn't amount to much unless Queen can shoot much bigger laserbeams than he has shown, and Pica can also hide underground in normal circumstances. The reason he was inside the stone statue in that fight was so he could make it walk above the ground (instead of having the statue partially united to the ground). Regarding locating Pica with CoO... Luffy and Zoro, who both had already shown CoO to feel presences on Fishman Island, were unable to locate Pica's position with it (his DF influence on the stones may interfere with it somehow).

So, without his gas weapons, Queen doesn't have any good mean to reach Pica, even if of course Queen could just send Pica to the grave with a single slap if he did reach him.

But well this is assuming Pica is fighting in a very rocky place. If they fought somewhere without rocks or on a ship Pica is fodder. On a rocky battlefield like Dressrosa Pica is one of the trickiest DFs to defeat.

That's where Queen's ability to fire lasers continuously comes in, in my opinion. Lasers are super strong and rapid fire lasers should potentially be able to cause some major havoc to the stones even with their regeneration. Nevermind his seemingly large power source to even manage that feat. Franky, using Vegapunk's tech, has issues with that. So Queen might actually win out a war if attrition in that way as Pica still has to worry about stamina for his DF, while Queen has his laser energy source and his normal monsterous stamina to fall back on.

I imagine it's more of a range and focus thing. He's either too far for their level of CoO or they just couldn't focus on finding him while fighting at the same time. I assume the latter is the case given how Luffy seemingly mastered that recently against Katakuri. Even before actually mastering FS, he was getting way better at using CoO and CoA simultaneously.

Either way, if we assume that Queen's genius isn't just lip service, he may deduce Pica's flaw like Zoro did.

In terms of Plague tech, I don't think it'd be much use. The range is an issue. It's possible he has something that can be applied to inorganic matter, but he hasn't shown anything. It would destroy Pica though if it touched him.

Pica's size is an issue, but I think Queen has the attack power to get work done.

As I said, common sense. Queen wins.
The fact that you think someone with inferior haki to Dressrossa Luffy & Zoro could beat Queen in a 'fair fight' is laughable. Queen is a YC. Like??? Is this because Sanji is fighting Queen?

Queen would likely defeat even doflamingo with at most moderate difficulty... There's no way an executive of someone who'd be a mid range yonko executive would have a chance against queen. It's not even an issue of queen's biological weapons, the guy has incredible durability from his dinosaur fruit and the power of all of judge's kids.. The guy was able to catch a gear 2 punch from luffy at udon like it was nothing. Queen is jsut higher in the pecking order.

Agreed. An he worked with style. Pica could be annoying to actually kill, if he kept running about and hiding.

Glad to see some life back in the Battle forums.

An inconsistency with Oda’s writing, something I miss from Pre-TS.

But didn’t we see in both the Manga & Anime Saint Saturn be crushed by the buildings on Egg Head…

Overall point being. Pica has powerful and very advantageous DF power many would have a problem to overcome

To counter Pica’s Df power you’ll need either.
Great CoO to locate him quickly. high destructive power capable of destroying massive size structures.

In terms of Queen. I think it’s more than safe to say he has enough destructive capability to deal with Pica before Pica could become a problem.
