Can you post the link to the weekly ranking? I'm interested to know if MHA volumes are charting alongside the current one since the whole series seemed to have a 100% backlog increase in 2 days of charting since the movie came out.

My Hero Academia backlog is getting strong to the point that there are a lot of chances that for first time ever MHA ends the year over One Piece in copies sold. I'd say MHA is in a good position to beat both OP and Shingeki and end the year 4th (the JJK/Kimetsu/Toman trio is an already closed top-3).

Kimetsu and JJK big noise tend to make us forget it, but MHA had its second best year ever last year (despite ending 6th if I remember), and this year could be its best year ever.

Jump cover and lead color pages for "The Elusive Samurai" in Weekly Shonen Jump #39/2021 (on sale 30/08).

And probably One Piece will have Jump cover and lead color pages in Jump #40/2021 to celebrate Volume 100 launch (this is not confirmed, just speculation).

There's really nothing to worry about right now, but pure "sales" isn't a surefire inidcation of survival. You overrate them too much.
It was bound to fall at some point, but unless it starts staying near the bottom, then one shouldn't be too concerned now. Wild fluctuations in ToC positions are normal.

Anniversary covers are quite often not on the actual anniversary and sometimes are quite far away, Black Clover's one this year was 5 issues late for example. And Jujutsu's was more than 10 issues late (though I expect that was at least party due to Gege struggling with the schedule).

Anyway Yozakura's off the bottom quick at least, though all 3 of the gag series are in the bottom 5 instead.

• Blue Box obviously getting axed. Sales were probably underwhelming, just like PS. (So we will probably get a batch of 4 with BB, Candy Flurry, and HSF leaving the mag. All 4 new series will be HxH).
• Neru is higher than Red Hood, so RH is probably axebait. (If they had stayed in the hamlet the rankings would probably be better).
• TES got cover because Jump doesn't want to give Mid: Yozakura Family an anniversary cover. It'll end in 2-3 months with RH (An anniversary cover might be announced, but when the cover is revealed it'll just be Roboco in a bad Mutsumi cosplay).

It's made the Oricon Top 50 with it's first volume, selling over 40k in a week. It's got a 100k copies reprint coming in a week in addition to it's 70k initial print - it'll probably outsell Ayakashi FM by Volume 2. Bring up Phantom Seer all you want, but this is way ahead. Blue Box makes money, and so Nak would be stupid to cancel it.

Neither Neru nor Red Hood really caught my attention. Red Hood quite confusing, Neru a bit bland in some sense. Both with unique art-style, which I value, though.

And I'll continue to be a bit of a ES hater (even though I find it OK), specially if it is consistently highly-ranked due to Matsui's following and past success. Well, if it sells, it sells.
