Which is not true since the series has a much lower performance than yozakura.
Why would they lie and give it a color pages? Your conspiracy theory isn't rooted in fact and makes no sense.

I think Magu is actually the most popular manga Jump has ever published, but Nak hates it so much that he gives it bad rankings to try and get it axed.

He probably switches the sales numbers for Magu and JJK. So Magu actually sells 1,600K per volume and JJK only sells 8K per volume (that's why it ranked so low this week, Nak can't keep up the lie forever and JJK is about to be axed).

Quite a useless push given that telling people something is popular isn't going to make it more popular.

And how little English manga sells anyway.
It's a weird statement if it's a push when Manga is pretty niche still over here, doesn't help that Bookscan can be pretty inaccurate when trying to gauge real sales going by some comments by some American comic writers.

Seeing how if I remember right OP already double MHA English 2020 sales in half a year in France.

Yeah but magu chan merchandising is sellimg very good too... it sold 1000 in just 2 week, considering that. Just with plush it sold 20'000€ or more, that is not bad at all
And yeah it sold just 8k but indeed the 5th volume was in stock after just 5 days from the publication, so yeah they underprinted it

And what is your theory and anime based on?
besides, it's not all anime that improves the sales of a manga. There's Edens zero as proof.

So they should invest in plush stuff and stop printing tankobon for magu chan, because they're wasting paper.
Because if the only thing keeping magu chan is SoL, then they should have kept nine dragons longer.

If a busty female character is a tool for cheap positive sentiment can't the same be said for a hot Male character? Fujoshi are also a big paying crowd.
When has that ever happened?

Only one I can think of is Kan but Witch Watch was well established by the time he showed up. Before that, no one.

They aren't starting to sell anymore, so far none of the recent volumes have outperformed the sales of the first volume.

And even so, it was little, for the amount of volumes so far.

Spain
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission officially hits theaters on October 29 in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland, and on October 28 in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. A release is also planned for Scandinavia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru, with a date to be confirmed.

I guess the movie should be announced soon in Spain and other european countries.

Well we know Shonen Jump do lie about popularity and reception with new series in order to hype a series (Build King "explosive popularity"), but color page is another story, also being popular doesnt mean more than the other series but being popular in its own, which is the case of Magu-chan ranking decently well, good merch and etc.

They did it with a color page with Horikoshi's second series Sensei no Barrage; Chapter 10 got a color page "as thanks for the popularity", and then axed at Chapter 16.
(This example is obviously much earlier in its run than Magu currently is.)

i forgot about Bulge case, but still, after all the color pages Magu already received in 2021, the series is obviously doing something good for Jump to keep promoting it
