Madame fallaFar's Daily Horoscope corner!
🔮 With the very last bits of their energy they can muster, the Teller takes to the stars one final time 🔮

🌠

♈ Aries ♈
"Sure, your sign might be considered a little unfiltered, bold and daring even; prone to being bored, one could say. But this also allows you to reach new heights other signs rarely ascend to. This week the Virgo moon will be in descent and Jupiter will be in retrograde, meaning it's high time for you to set out on a new venture. Yet, with the waning sun and rising tides also comes the warning not to overreach. Fate is a zero-sum game, and not one you can always win."

♉Taurus ♉
"Despite your penchant for resting, over long enough periods of time, this might cause rusting. Your all-or-nothing demeanour makes it hard for you to change or to pivot at the exact moment you need. This week you will be once again presented with an opportunity and the stars have aligned for you to reach out. Though it might go against your nature, it might be your destiny."

♊Gemini ♊
"You're charismatic and good with words, both written and in conversation. But your charm has a washing-machine type of effect; others believe you, no matter what you say, and consequently, you start believing it too. In the short term, that works wonders for you. In the long-term, you might find yourself cornered by a lack of good advice, and people around you to balance out your persona. This week, the stars will provide you with an opportunity in disguise to make a change in this. That person who argues against you might actually be looking out for you. For a change, it might be best to let someone else do the talking, and despite all odds, that might enrich your life greatly"

♋ Cancer ♋
"You're a sensitive person who seeks both provide and give comfort. You forgive but don't forget, you set boundaries that are vigilantly guarded and maintained but are willing to take on the problems of others outside of that. You might find that this week requires you to shift the window a little, when a new but unknown problem shows up on the horizon. Though people tend to lose perspective when they face the unknown, the stars can do one better than disorient you, and instead, help you make acquaintance with a whole new worldview. Be open-minded this week, and see where it takes you."

🌠

♌ Leo ♌
"Despite being a little vain, you exude warmth and creativity. Your larger-than-life persona makes you stand out and you like this accompanying a certain degree of luxury. And much like the King of Beasts, you hold back little energy when dealing with problems, both big and small. This week you will be asked to practice restraint and proportionality. Even the Lion needs rest."

♍ Virgo ♍
"The Virgo sign is a compassionate one. You feel the need to be useful to others, no matter what. It helps that usually you are in fact the kind of person who can produce useful solutions. You have a million ideas per second that are produced by a rich tapestry of experience. Your quick thinking makes it so you can find quick fixes to whatever situation. This however does not mean there always is a solution, and you need to make peace with that. This week, try figuring out yourself, too."

♎ Libra ♎
"You hate being alone, but you also hate conflict. You see every side which makes it so you have trouble making decisions. But this week is not the time to get lost in fantasy and lose yourself to eventualities that might never occur. It is time to stand your ground and figure out how to break your current dead-lock. This week, you will have to decide. When you decide, go deeper than trying to understand both sides and instead try to figure out why you feel the need to mediate."

♏ Scorpio ♏
"No sign takes betrayal worse than you do. And this week, you will be indeed faced with betrayal. Not necessarily someone you're close to, but someone you look up to - deem better than yourself - will disappoint you. While revenge is a dish best served callously, this week, it will be important for you to choose your battles, and bide your time. You don't know how much poison you will be needing going forward, and who to use it on, if you take out everything in sight."

🌠

♐ Sagittarius ♐
"You have no indoor voice and form opinions almost exclusively based on how you feel in the moment. Simultaneously, you are driven by self-improvement to the point of it being a fault. Truth is a weapon you use to dish out blunt trauma to all around you, even those who didn't deserve it, much less those who can defend themselves from it. This week you will be faced with a conundrum that requires a bit more emotional intelligence than you usually care to apply. Not for lack of possession of it, however. So tap into this richer side of yourself, and learn to furnish your weapon with this pageantry."

♑ Capricorn ♑
"You're responsible and motivated by duty. Oriented around success, you might be a little hard to approach. Others think it, but you know it. While it may be comfortable keeping up these defences, the stars have a chance meeting for you planned this week that requires you to let down the draw bridge. It's good being an adult, but it's better not to lose sight of your childlike enthusiasms. Staying in touch with your past is not a bad thing if you understand your place in it."

♒ Aquarius ♒
"You are in possession of the best sign. But that doesn't mean you are being your best self. You believe in freedom, having it and living it, but faultily, you also believe the opposite of freedom is restraint. This is not true; a little self-discipline would help you improve in all aspects of your life, and allow you to exploit said freedom better. Being free means the ability to choose and you would do well seeking more input from others before you choose how you want to be free."

♓ Pisces ♓
"They say there's plenty of fish in the sea. And that's true. It's unfortunate then you're a sea-urchin. You also get into a fight with a duck you somehow manage to lose. Best to stay inside"

🔮 Night Actions 🔮

Aha here are the spicy night actions. Past Nacho's death, the DC didn't have much to vote on... So it was dissolved. Also, empty spaces may indicate that player didn't PM for whatever reason

I was going to do an elaborate player-by-player review like last time, but this time noona did it, and hers were pretty good so I'll stick to those :lmao

Compared to the previous burning building mechanic, I think noona and I pretty easily settled on the form of this idea, stamping out technicalities along the way. I thought the DC mechanic was pretty interesting, though perhaps not all effects were equally balanced (nor did all effects provide the DC with the same amount of powers). There is probably some more interesting concepts in this post-death corner to explore (coming to a panda game close to you). Coming up with all the effects was a little tricky but overall they produced a couple of interesting gamer moments. Hmm, I didn't expect a mafia to die to the N1 effect, I didn't think Jesus and day skip would be picked so quickly and I didn't expect horoscoping to be such hard work 😤 The tellers have it tough.

We wanted the game to have a mystical kind of atmosphere? The colours, avi's and text hopefully all contributed to that. Though usually I'm not necessarily fond of RNG, given the theme it seemed acceptable. We had to RNG onto a vote so that a majority of townies couldn't disregard a minority mafo. There was a rubberband kind of mechanic to a three-headed council, as the team that was getting bodied could attempt to control the course of the constellations. Introducing lovers into the game at a later point proved an interesting stimulant, in that even trusted players could get burnt. Inactive or unwilling players could refrain from engaging with the mechanic heavily. Living players didn't necessarily have to learn all the effects while they were playing; they could focus on the game and look up a list of more invested players after kicking the bucket.

I liked random-kuns debut. He helped a lot with Rin-chan-campaigning and has a penchant for omo'ing. It's a smart bot, for sure. It did its best. Not a lot to say about it, other than that I'm disappointed in the players who had random-kun RNG onto someone to vote for LOL, very painful. Its final deciding coin toss turned out to be pretty relevant. Apparently, random-kun has a penchant for multiples of 2 but will roll onto uneven numbers if you praise or intimidate it. Perhaps it keeps track of how everyone is treating it :heh. I think in these few cute paragraphs I've surmised most of my immediately relevant thoughts. Hopefully, less panda game shenanigans next time 😤

🌠 Once again, congratulations to the winners, and thank you for playing! 🌠

If hardy is mafia, then mafia will control the council right, we'd be in a real pickle.

And since its only 3 people on council then shad gets bumped off, rip doctor forever.

It's true that if we manage to lynch a mafia the DC will be controlled by them for at least two Signs, but this is inevidable as we need to lynch them in order to win the game.

Isn't it funny to you that Desin was completely indifferent on the lynch people, even considered Seiko-voting, yet then voted to save Hardy siding with his train of thoughts with this (as I said also said multiple times, very farfetched) noble D1 selfvote theory.

It is just so clear he had to change from being his usual lol-so-random early game attitude (he did the same last game as Town Noble), to take actually take part in the votes as more votes were piling up on Hardy.
Yes like I said all circumstances point at Hardy. Only few cases go against it like if there are 2 mafia teams and desin wanted to lynch one, but it feels so weird that he‘d think Shad is the other mafia and then get involved in the lynch just because of the noble vote. If both were town wouldn‘t it make more sense to vote Hardy from his pov to save Shad?

The things that give me pause are his words sounding genuine since Day 1(but then again I thought the same last game) and that Investigator does fit his hints. And barring the unlikely chance they hit Investigator Heaven with Janitor it‘s super bold to claim Investigator as mafia when there‘s good chances town has one.

♓ The skies are currently ruled by... Pisces, the All-Seeing ♓

If this Sign is voted for, the DC will vote for one (1) player among the bottom five (5) posters to swap places with (the selected player dies as ????).
So this still doesn't explain how the DC is selected to replace one of the bottoms. If it's RNG'd we will have to lynch the mafia man again D3 (damn you @desin24 vampire-kun :shakefist).

Would slow down the game for a town win for sure, but the RNG odds are at least a 2 to 1 in our favour.

You said in your post that Bran and me not revealing means that:

  1. We don't fear Janitor.
  2. We don't care.
Oh. Yes, only reasons. However strong your role is or baiting or whatever, is not worth us having no clues if you drop as ???. If not revealing at least some more clues that we could use to later assume role-list/find Janitor using your role as cover. But doing nothing about it just means one of those 2 things.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the DC has no pad, right?
I don‘t think we were told the details but it‘s very unlikely they do, since it‘d skew things too much if certain roles die with results or such. And considering it isn‘t majority vote they don‘t need a pad either. So just a decision.

At the very least with two townies in DC the mafia cannot take out the Spy from there. Or can they hmmm? Here again if DC cannot talk and cooperate desin could pick avietar to die and if the others vote to for someone else each, he could win this RNG as well. Damn.

@ Town: Suggestions for which bottom 5 to get rid of?

There‘s more than 1 way to play these games with mechanics. If Hardy was lynched as mafia last day he‘d have gotten a townie dead, Shad got a mafia. Likewise us lynching a townie now could lead to them swapping places with a scum, otherwise they kill a townie and waste a lynch/day of ours being re-lynched.

I‘d still play as normal, just that with this rubberbanding mechanics our wins and losses are not made too significant.

If it‘s still marm, magi, tatsu and sam along with avietar at the end, I have no preferences whatsoever. None of them did much to be more or less trusted than the other to me.

I love how juviii shit talking my memory (honestly what people talking about makings me concerned about how bad is my memory lost is, if I'm forgetting stuff too much too fast and should i look into it with a doc or sth if it's that bad :/)

@Evil3ye form the way i see it, the overused about is related to janitor, it is overused if you included all the games janitor been in considering 80% of the time it's there in game.
Plus, as i said i don't like how hard we pushing on hardy right now, at the start of the day, i could expected someone to defend hardy but there none that appeared, and he already got 4 votes super early on, honestly I don't like that part is what making me second guess if we aren't being lead on

Also about @James Rye damn don't come in and confuse everybody, just say if you're bodyguard or not today as this info is vital especially if you are

Why should he have picked to kill Hardy over Shad, I don't get this pov, could you elaborate?

His D1 hints don't fit though, overused role (being present in 14 out of 70 games =20%) is factually wrong. As well as boring is very debatable as it is an investigative role that brings in a constant flow of new information, but meh, not gonna even acknowlege this hint as a hint. Further, his D2 hint was also past the Spy reveal, as mentioned, he easily could have fabricated a role that fits these findings and is also plausible in setup. Now is it bold? Maybe, unless of course he read some codes of the Janitor that Heaven was it. Enough time has passed for sure when he first showed his face this phase and they had a whole night to prep for this exact scenario, knowing very well Hardy would be not in a good light pressing so hard for Shad. Pretty sure they have agreed to use any role for him to claim that Janitor would hid and they were lucky enough that they actually hit the very role that could debunk this plan.

Heaven only hinted night role from my notes, but perhaps looking through his posts would give more clues.

I am still pretty confident with Hardy being mafia, so I am not changing my vote.

yea i already made that joke :))))))))) it'd be so funny if he turned out to be :)))))))))

true true I agree xD but hmm mby he's baiting?

Also I never saw 2 bodyguards in the same game. Has that been done before?
2 Prostitutes have been done before which ofc nobody believed when both came out at the same time, so that was fun. 2 BGs have never been done from what I remember.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the DC has no pad, right?
Even so, Mafia can talk about their fav sign choices at night depending on their best/worst case scenario. As in nobody of them dying and as in several of them dying in a row.

@Evil3ye @Hardy @Scary Noona @Juviii @Asako

No, I am not bodyguard and I never was, but I liked someone mentioning that since it meant Mafia would get the same idea and leave me in peace, so I didn't wanted to deny it from day 1 outright. I will not reveal my role though and if you don't like that, go cry me a river.

Well that clears evil case finally, why confuse everyone man James

Its different tho, two BG is like two roles that can't stop a kill just redirect it, prostitutes have more use so it's reasonable that there could be two at least way more than BG

He could much easier pose as a townie by trying to save a player being set up(Shad with non vote) than the farfetched theory he went with. He intentionally went with the worse option if both are town, for no reason other than to maybe later implicate Hardy. So that would speak for him having a reason to do something so odd, ie. saving a teammate.

Overused he already explained as „it‘s too often in games that have Janitor“ no? I agree games are rare where Janitor‘s only issue is him dying. His counter role gets included either as a role or as a mechanic(like in Shokugeki).
Regardless he seemed to have a role in mind to claim D1, and doesn‘t look to me like he changed his claim idea. But could be wrong.

True but keep in mind Spy revealed out of nowhere early, few could‘ve claimed anything before. Your BG was also after the spy came out no?

Code can work but again it feels so unlikely to hit the Investigator of all people + him even needing to take that role as his fake-cover when there are plenty options. Last game he had no difficulty making up plausible metal vessels and base role and EM so why have issues now?

Not trying to convince you, I could be wrong and him being scum. Just telling you my reluctance.
