So, today I was industrious and downloaded all of the FMA manga to date, the first 46 graphic novels of One Piece, the first 23 graphic novels of Ah My Goddess and the first 26 graphic novels of Inu Yasha... I think I will be busy reading for a while.

I seriously do not know any people here in Alaska into anime/manga. We made friends that are into comic books but anime is not that big here unless you live in Anchorage. *pout* I really want to be able to geek out with people about weekly chapters but I guess that will never happen at work... Oh well... at least my husband is geeky like me and reads the weekly chapters and episodes and listens to my wild ideas... LOL

Yep... American football is not as common as soccer here... almost all the streets are like deserts when a soccer match is on tv... I personally prefer American football...
But besides the NFL, which is not really popular (when its not the super bowl... and eve though, only a small percentage is interested, i think), universities are the ones in charge of making it "popular"... We have a football field in the campus and here is an article that apparently was published today of a match that "we" won on saturday...
Besides my college, the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México) is also involved in college football and i think that are good rivals of the borregos...

Well, give it time. I think international sports apparently has more appeal to most countries, and American football definitely isn't anywhere close to being global. It's getting there though. The NFL is starting to put their teams on display in other countries in real games, they actually started in Mexico City back in 2005 because "Mexico was chosen for the first game partly because it has the largest NFL fan base outside of the United States and regularly televised games have created loyal fans of the Cowboys, 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers, among others."

Does someone know something about a student association called DECA there in the US?

Good luck, that's a LOT of reading, I'd say. FMA, OP, and Inu Yasha are all lengthly reads. I don't know about Ah My Goddness, tho.

haha i liked the Dark one, but for ages now i've been using the FUZZY skin so my eyes have become accustomed to the soft and dark greys that are now, my mangahelpers home XD.
I tried the dark one but i just couldn't read anything properly, at least without my eyes straining from the already straining glasses i'm wearing XD.

no, i know what fun going to bed is. you can watch tv, or have fun with that specail someone, but if you sleep, nothing happens. hell, you might even embaress yourself while your asleep by snoring, roling of your bed, sleep talking, sleep walking, etc. staying awake in bed is so much better.

rabb is derived from an old nickname my family had for me. i was called rabbit, after the map guy in twister, since i was the map person when we moved back across the country. since then it got shortened, but a couple people here knew that. a few days ago dizzy called me rabbit in ichi's thread. then ichi took to calling me bunny. slowly more and more people have been calling me bunny x.x

oooooooooo i reallly reallly like it ! but it's so hard to navigate for me, maybe i'm the opposite and lighter colours are more easier for me to see ^___^
Hmmm speaking of which (not really cos it's totally random)
I found these really funny, cos they're SOOOOOO random comics on the net recently, has anyone heard of Cyanide and Happiness? They're really funny to read and a good way to kill time, esp. if you start on the first comic, they're dating back from 2005, so should keep you busy for a while.
