Not enough, after all with 10 volumes it hasn't even reached 80k in a single volume.

is 80k a benchmark for something? Its growing which is whats most important. It's like a kid who's 5"4 but getting taller vs a kid who's 5"6 but isn't growing

its still showing growth with each volume and look at how big the anime boosts have been in the recent years, tokyo revengers went from doing 150k first month to now being about 4-5 times that in the same time period, its not out of the realm of possibility that yozakura can get a big anime boost in the future and even if it doesn't its secured its position in the mag

Most series aren't Tokyo Revengers.

It's best not to think of TR, JJK, or KNY as the norm.

voted for Yugioh ZeXaL. Tsukumo "Feelin the Flow" Yuuma is my favorite and ZeXaL story is the best writing.

ARC-V is the best YGO manga. Loved the four ygo protags basically being brothers.

Red Hood and Neru are pretty much a dead meat. I don't see how they can survive at this point of time. Probably they both will be gone, making a way for 2 new series for the next round. It's a shame, especially for Neru, since I enjoy reading it and love its vibe. The hype in the Red Hood MP comment section is real tho. Every second comment is "don't axe".

I know its a meme that Dr. Stone gets too much promotion, but it really doesn't get that many covers.

In 2019 it got 3 covers: one anniversary, one for season 1 anime starting, and one for Byakuya Reboot.
In 2020 it got 3 covers: one anniversary, one normal, and one for season 2 anime
In 2021 it has had 3 covers (not including this one): another one for season 2 anime (kind of overkill), one anniversary, and one normal

Just 3-4 a year out of 50 doesn't seem like that much. Dr Stone is WSJ's 4th most popular series and Boichi doesn't have as much trouble with the additional workload as Horikoshi, Tabata, or Gege do.

And right now Dr Stone's last cover was in May. Almost every series in the magazine (including Yozakura) has had a cover since then. However, if Dr Stone getting the cover this week means Yozakura doesn't celebrate its anniversary at all I will be very upset.

Then there is a chance that they'll give more time of one between Neru and RH and still start 2 new series.

And what is the matter with Dr. Stone getting covers, lcps, and cps?
It's one of the pillar series of Jump right now and Boichi is a powerhorse, so he can take them with an ease.
Tabata and Horikoshi seems to struggle lately with the schedule and we know what happened with Gege,
so it's normal that they want to have more often one of their pillars on the cover.

I speak during the month.

for example, a volume of Elusive samurai sells around 91K, while yozakura still sells around 50K.

In the same way that yozakura may not get this boost, everything will depend on the studio that will make the project and also on how it will be adapted.

It is exactly as you said and most of the people who complain about it understand it as well.
It is just that Dr. Stone is not as popular as other series among the people who follow this thread and thus they tend to complain way more about it rather than for One Piece for example.

Also, it seems Dr. Stone is moving towards its finale soon, thus it would even make more sense for it to receive promotion now rather than later. Moreover, they could reveal the date for the new anime season.

I dont think this is the case, everybody here enjoys Dr. Stone, the thing is that the series is getting the 5th cover already, which is something really difficult to happen unless you're One Piece or in the peak of popularity a & promotion, which isnt really the case with Stone, so it ends up feeling a bit repetitive and a waste when the cover could go to Witch Watch for example, but well, its done.
