Terrific covers for both Blue Box and Me and Roboco. Most Roboco parodies I find to be pretty stale but this one is pretty fun.

I hope there be like a Nintendo Direct-like virtual presentation like the rest of the others?

I dont think this is the case, everybody here enjoys Dr. Stone, the thing is that the series is getting the 5th cover already, which is something really difficult to happen unless you're One Piece or in the peak of popularity a & promotion, which isnt really the case with Stone, so it ends up feeling a bit repetitive and a waste when the cover could go to Witch Watch for example, but well, its done.
I wouldn't go that far as to call it a waste, but yeah, they definetily could've give it to Witch Watch, but seems like Nakano don't want to give Witch Watch a cover yet. I think major factor for the number of covers Dr. Stone gets is that Boichi is a powerhorse and it's not a problem for him to make them.
Another factor is as I said they want to have more often one of their pillars on the cover. And since Tabata, Horikoshi and Gege aren't always in condition to respond, they turn to Boichi who happily accepts. I got a little curious, so:

Number of covers from #1 to #42:
- One Piece - 4
- Dr. Stone - 4
- My Hero Academia - 3
- Mashle - 3
- Black Clover - 2
- Undead Unluck - 2
- The Elusive Samurai - 2 (not counting the cover at the start of serialization)
- Jujutsu Kaisen - 1
- Yozakura Family - 1
- Sakamoto Days - 1
- Blue Box - 1 (not counting the cover at the start of serialization)
- Group covers - 4

It is shame that JJK have only 1 cover, 10 issues before the end of Jumps calendar year, but we all know the reason why.

It does not seem the case to me as it is very often very low in the comments after the chapter are released. I don't mean they hate it.
It is fairly popular amongst the people who visit the forum though, otherwise it would not rank not well in the weekly rankings you post every week.

Dr. Stone is pretty stable in terms of popularity, but it has been at the top of the ToC for many weeks (I believe #1 for almost a month now). We know that although it is not a equation, but it is a good indication that the series is very well received at the moment.

Witch watch is doing well and I think it a good series for its genre, but it is not really neither as popular or close to its ending as Dr. Stone is.

My most hyped WSJ manga since 2020:
  • Time Paradox Ghostwriter
  • BUILD KING
  • Kowloon's Ball Parade
  • Red Hood
  • PPPPPP
I'm sorry everyone.

BB: Is this a mixed competition or do all of the girls except Chinatsu just happen to look like boys? I didn’t dislike the conversations, but when I can fit the chapter with all of its nuances in less than five sentences, maybe it’s time to ramp up the pace.

Red Hood: It’s a little slow, but I’m enjoying myself.

CF: The eye close-ups have emotion now! It’s still a bit rough, but you can see the mangaka is improving. I hope they come back with another series after this, preferably with a few more novel ideas. I quite liked the ending too, just wish we found out what happened to those former test subject.

WW: Cute. Though I’m wondering who really arranged the move.

Neru: I liked this one. They play off of each other well.

Mashle: Exposition chapter. I didn’t mind it, we desperately needed more lore anyway (though there are probably better ways than ‘have them stand still and talk for 20 pages’).

OP: These chapters are so much better when we stay with the same people for more than 3 pages.

Dr Stone: Ambitious. And probably impossible. But still, I’m glad somebody is trying. They all went way too easy over that one-way thing.

Yozakura: It’s really not much of a secret anymore at this point. I’m not a big fan of the sudden lady appearance, but the (re)conciliation was very nice.

Sakamoto: Introductions chapter. I’m glad this series doesn’t overdo it on the characters and takes its time to get to know them, though I’m not sure yet if I’ll enjoy them all.

UU: This seems like massive overkill.

I wouldn't say so. Presumably the current arc is heading towards the final one, but I'd say it have at least 2 years till ending.

Not more than 30 chapters in my opinion. It has barely a year left in my opinion
Anyway what series will receive an anime at the Jump festa? My guesses are:

UU
yozakura
mashle
a surprise series (ayakashi, Magu, roboco or HSF)

After they manage to achieve their current goal, there is gonna be a final arc (if its final at all) with a lot of things to explain, that is for sure. That's not gonna happen in 30 chapters imo.

Festa is still quite away. We might get anime announcement before that and then another one at Festa. For usual one I would say Yozakura and for Feta UU

It has an annoying watermark but whatever.

it has a few interesting obstacles
-obviously the premise that it's about music in a medium without sound
-the vibrant colours stand out here but that likely won't be conveyed as well in the regular chapters
-the strange anatomy and designs (see: the guy with a crown-shaped hairline/fringe below Deku). This one could be flipped into an advantage if the series is really leaning on the bizzarre and surreal. Assuming that there's enough of an audience for that

on a side note: I miss Agravity Boys.
