Looking forward for the SDM to be animated and especially the Laxus vs Erza fight. To be honest,I like the 1st season animation more than the succeeding ones. I felt more connected with it. The last season on the other hand was horrible for me.

I know this is in realm of impossible, but may be KyoAni can animate it.
They already made their comeback with Dragon Maid Season 2, now they could use a popular Franchise to Animate to keep it going.

Hell no. The first season animation was TRASH!! It’s literally why a ton of people didn’t give it a chance. Go back and look at the animation for Natsu’s flames. Like what even was that. The final season is what the entire anime should have looked like. Keep the flames as flames . Anything but returning to that.

Hard agree on the last line. I though I was watching a very well done power point presentation half way through the last season. Anything but that.

Yes!Amen to the magic circles!It felt cooler to me. Maybe they can skip the "cool" intros in casting the spell like what they did later on after 2 or 3 arcs but still keeping the magic circles.

Aside from Erza vs Laxus and SDMs,I hope the anime will prolong the battle of FT at Aldron's body. There were so many short and mostly off screened fights that got us blue balled. It's interesting to see:
-ISD Gajeel vs LFD Natsu
-Wraith's arsenal
-Possessed Makarov vs Natsu
-Lucy vs Strauss Siblings
-Gray vs Raijinshu
-Strauss Siblings vs DEs
-Max's new spell

The Laxus vs Erza fight and to some extent Natsu vs Aldron were the only ones I considered long enough for a bi-weekly manga. The others I mentioned above on the hand were interesting but mostly felt rushed.


Of course,most of the Selene 1.0 arc was highlighting Lucy so I'm looking forward to see it animated too. If they go by filler arc,I hope they do a training arc to bridge the gap between the main and the sequel. For sure,Team Natsu were preparing for 100 year quest in all aspects. Or just any normal fun day for FT. You know,one of the things I loved about FT are the simple yet funny little adventures before the big arc. So,fingers crossed on the animation.

Hell no, to your hell no. That shit looked like some child got loose and animated the magic. An them lame ass circles didn’t make up for that nonsense in the slightest.

An again, certainly not. The magic circles weren’t worth the horrible magic animation. It literally stagnated the series. My daughter wouldn’t even give it a chance.

Magic Circles was very unique it´s a shame they removed them hopefully they will bring them back!

Most likely it's gonna be a 20+ episode season adapting Mercphobia/Aldoron arcs. Doubt it's gonna have more than 40 episodes unless Moon Dragon God is done by the time they air the anime.
I do hope the animation gets improved from the final season one, even if I doubt it will. At least give Erza vs Laxus fight justice.

Moon dragon god arc is done, so it’s a safe bet it could be adapted.

Elentir you mean. Yeah, that should be animated as well.

But TBH, the last arc being that trash would mean less people sticking up for the next season of anime LMAO. Elentir is a terrible way to end the season.

So maybe they'll animate until the end of Selene arc (assuming it's next in the manga)

They may wait till the next manga arc is completed to make a 50 episode adaptation like they did with the Final Series, but if the anime comes in 2022 and the new arc isn't finished, at the very least it's gonna end at Elentir.

So I would say Merc, Aldo, and this arc. And then the second half be the viernes, Selene, and Ignia arc if that’s how it’s going to go down.

It could be that its seasonal and we may only get 1 or 2 arcs.

I say Season 1 should end with an after credit scene with Faris awakening and saying "Elentire will be swallowed by moon", perfect cliffhanger for next season.

If the anime isn’t gonna similar to the 2009 version I probably wouldn’t watch they butchered the 2014 season and final season (in fact I didn’t watch an episode at all just watch fight clips )
