Yes it does. Find me someone who shit their pants seeing someone weaker than themselves.

Yeah, before they even saw how powerful Natsu, Laxus etc were LMAO. Their comparison was on someone like Makarov, i.e Jura tiet
And then Laxus came to destroy Ajeel
Sadly no.
This was all the hype they got. Laxus mp was no where near brandish mp.
As for wahl. Laxus needed powerup as well. Which wahl provided him. And also alot of cis on wahl part.
So you need to factor that in as well

According to who? Nothing says Brandish's MP is higher than Laxus's

PiS and CiS happens in every fight. Mashima decided to double nerf Laxus against Wahl, and Laxus still ended up overpowering him. That alone shows his position in comparison to spriggans. That and Ajeel shitting his pants.

Actually it was a clever trap Laxus laid since Wall basically can’t attack without taking down the runs which basically affected Laxus’ sickness.

base Wall is just slightly physically above Laxus when he wasn’t nerfed by the sickness

What? People were sh!ting themselves looking at brandish. And you think a laxus who appears after that encounter had more mp, but was never mentioned. I dont think so

Laxus never overpowered him. Wahl also suffered from alot of crap. He also empowered laxus. So that should also be considered
Ajeel was fine afterwards. Didnt hurt his God complex even a little bit

No it wasn't. Wahl is a machine. He should technically not be able to fall in such traps. Secondly nullifying runes should have nothing to do with anti ethernano particles

Obviously, since her peer was shitting himself from Laxus

He did, Laxus outright killed him. Wahl wasn't suffering from anything, he was at full power and fought a dying Laxus, while also being immune to his magic.
Why would it? Actually losing didn't hurt his god complex either. Gray and Natsu also didn't give two shits about Brandish's MP afterwards either.

Why would him being a machine mean he cant fall for a trap? Makes no sense.

Laxus killed him because of wahl lightning weakness, also something you like to ignore.
Yes he was, his system was giving him warnings and errors.
But natsu and gray were sh!tting themselves looking at brandish in the start. That is difference between hype phase and actual last fight phase. You know, like you are ranking suzaku from hype phase

you mean Wahl, who checked laxus weakness and strength and accidently attacked him with lightning. Yeah, machine can't do that

The only direct comparison they made was to Makarov's MP, i.e to a Jura tier's MP

Gray shat his pants at Brandish's MP.
The best you can scale from this is Brandish's MP >> regular Gray's, which is fair. But Laxus >> regular Gray, so it doesn't prove anything. Same for FDKM Natsu or Jellal or Gildarts.

Gray himself low diff'd a Spriggan having stronger portrayal later (Zeref's right hand man), and stalemated END who overpowered Dimaria's hax and no diff'd her.
END = darkness Gray >>> Dimara/Brandish. In both MP and stats
Unless you believe Laxus is << darkness Gray, he scales.

Also, since we agree getting scared at someone's MP should suggest something about relative MP. We can then agree Jellal's MP >> Neinhart's since he shat his pants to Jellal powering up? Well, I expect you to find some excuse, but the portrayal here is self evident for anyone arguing in good faith
Laxus' MP ~ Jellal's MP >> Neinhart's MP ~ Brandish's MP

Regarding Wahl, Laxus was nerfed with MBP, so at best the railgun made up for it.

And Wahl was immune to his element.

Sure, CIS was involved here with Wahl, so what? Laxus got an opponent immune to his offense, and the moment he bypassed the immunity, he one shotted him.

Laxus had the portrayal to one shot a Spriggan (yea, I'd take the words of wise August rather than arrogant Ajeel. At the very least it would've severely injured him, and a second nuke finished him off).
And one shotted another Spriggan.

The fact that Laxus was given an opponent immune to his element, on top of hism being sick in the fight, tells us all we need to know. Mashima need to nerf Laxus to give us an entertaining fight with an average Spriggan

Even machines a prone for error if they follow a specific function like analysis error, it even admitted an error in time to Laxus’ defeat. well despite what is stated in the manga, runes do have a magic negating affect too.

Still not a proove. Kiria hax was working against Erza & Laxus, same Kiria who get low diff by Laxus

Gray had no reaction for Laxus, unlike Brandish..

Higher magic power doesn't always mean that they have higher physicals. Laxus can definitely one shot Brandish, but from what we've seen, it's safe to assume that she had higher MP than him in Alvarez. Another example would be Neinhart: huge MP, terrible physicals.

Hoo boi. Much to unpack here.

First thing's first: Ultear's glass orb didn't die. Non-living objects cannot die. It cracked under the pressure of Zeref's death wave, which does exert a certain level of physical force. Ultear then reversed time for the orb, putting it back together and got rid of the curse still inside the orb. Btw Ultear absorbing the curse into her orb isn't arc of time.

Ankhseram's curse does not trigger unless Zeref values life. This is something that was explicitly explained many times. Zeref making the trees die around him isn't Ankhseram's curse, because it did not kill his minion standing right beside him. The minion was standing taller than some of the flowers around them. The flowers died, but the minion did not. The only way Zeref can fight effectively is by not valuing life, and the curse no longer fires off death waves when he thinks like that. In order for Zeref to hurt Aldoron, he must care about life....and doing so nerfs his magic to the point where mages like Ultear can beat him. Either way, Aldoron stomps. No matter which version of Zeref he faces, he'll just dispatch Wolfen to clone whoever can beat Zeref, and/or rain thicket from the skies until Zeref is forced to run away. The death wave, if it even triggers, is too slow to kill Aldoron before his seeds beat Zeref.

Ignia's fire was never said to have a special property that let's it burn Natsu. It's just really hot. Hot enough to overcome Natsu's dragon slayer resistance to fire. Speaking of which Zancrow's flames doesn't have any special property that lets it burn Natsu either, nor was it hot enough to overcome Natsu's resistance to fire. It didn't burn Natsu anywhere near Ignia's flames did. What makes Zancrow's flames special, and god slayer elements in general, was the fact that you couldn't eat it without emptying your magic reserves. "Savage flames" isn't even it's own type of fire. It's just Natsu FDK with flames of emotion. The term used was 荒ぶる感情の炎. 荒ぶる means wild/uncontrolled/rough. 感情の炎 is flames of emotion. Zeref's monologue basically went "Is this some type of sacred fire? Nope. It's wild flames of emotions". Which is to say "Savage Flames" is just Natsu using his emotions to make FDK destruction fist as hot as he can make it. It's just the upper limits of FDK.

Wall didn't have any disadvantage fighting Laxus. He used to have a weakness to lightning, but he changed his body to absorb lightning. Red Lightning was different enough from regular lightning that Wall couldn't absorb it. And let's take a step back here. Machines are vulnerable to malfunction from circuits being fried, but it's not like that matters here. Laxus' attack smashed Wall's face off. Whether or not the circuitry was vulnerable to getting fried is irrelevant at that point. You can argue that Wall's logic programs were malfunctioning, but that's only because he couldn't finish Laxus off and then Laxus tricked him. Having a nervous breakdown because your opponent is too tough and tricked you is just....well, just that. It's simply not comparable to having your organs failing from having inhaled poison.

We don't know if Brandish and Dimaria's magic can work on Laxus. They worked on Erza, so they should work on base Laxus. Red lightning is one a different level though, so we can't be certain how it works. None of this actually matters though, because Dimaria lacks the attack power to put down Laxus. She's not doing anything with that knife that Erza's enchanted katanas can't. Brandish can organ bust, but if she doesn't make Laxus' head explode or something....Laxus would just nuke her in retaliation. And of course, if Laxus is quicker on the draw, this isn't an issue to begin with.

TL;TR short version, Wrong, death is abstract, not physical. he uses it regardless of value of life, minion too low, even lower than Natsu who laid down on Elfman. Emits Deathwaves anyway. Zeref matches Aldoron anyway, likely above. It does as he said his flames are special to burn water. Which he admits his affinity is bad against normally because magic, same with Zancrow, savage flames is special too since it is the pinnacle of heat which affects time.Wall has advantage against Laxus which he was slight above Laxus while both in base. Red Lightning made from his injuries. From what we know Dimaria can affect Laxus regardless, Dimaria just has to snap his neck and that’s that, and considering that Brandish can affect a hostile Natsu, she could likely affect Laxus
Higher magic power doesn't always mean that they have higher physicals. Laxus can definitely one shot Brandish, but from what we've seen, it's safe to assume that she had higher MP than him in Alvarez. Another example would be Neinhart: huge MP, terrible physicals.
agree with most but doubt Brandish has low physical stats considering she stopped Lucy with Taurus powers that amp physical stats

Sure he did, Ajeel crapped his pants.

Wahl has no lightning weakness, it's the opposite, he's immune, he absorbs the power and gets stronger and stronger. Mashima made it clear, lightning was the best possible magic for him to face, Laxus is just so far above him that he can overpower that, lightning that's beyond even lightning.
Sure, warnings and errors cause Laxus was just that far above him.
Difference is, both Laxus and Suzaku lived up to their hype phase. Laxus, while dying of MPBs, while fighting someone immune to his magic, managed to craft an entire Jutsu Shiki mid battle and then lure Wahl into it, after which he had enough strength left to kill him with one blow, that's how far above Spriggans he is, they're literally dirt to him. August set the hype for Laxus's strength, and he exceeded it by far.

Wahl doesn't have the ability to check strengths, this is something you've made up.

Probably but they would 1 one shot both Jellal & Laxus before them unless you can proof that they have more MP than them to bypass their hax
Ok, Laxus casually almost killed Ajeel. As explained by the leader and strongest Spriggan August. Prove August wrong.
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

That still don't proove that Jellal has more MP than Spriggans
He's superior in physical stats, not in MP

https://prnt.sc/1udeaxz
Now you have to proof that Laxus & Jellal has more MP than Brandish, based on Gray words, Brandish MP >> Laxus
Gray hasn’t seen Laxus for over a year. So how does this contradict any of what’s been mentioned in any way? Especially when he immediately showed up and almost murders one of the mages she expressly stated is just as powerful as her.

Sadly no.
This was all the hype they got. Laxus mp was no where near brandish mp.
As for wahl. Laxus needed powerup as well. Which wahl provided him. And also alot of cis on wahl part.
So you need to factor that in as well
Why do you keep trying to reinvent Laxus battles? Wahl was actively gaining power from every blow a Laxus landed. It was already shown and explained with his Spriggan lvl stand in that his solution to the lightning weakness was modifying himself so it made him stronger. Laxus was in the middle of having a anti-magic attack when he got hit with the lightning gun and was revived. Other than that, he was giving Wahl plenty as good as he got.

Laxus has lived up to the hype expected of him in each instance. An honestly, he and Jellal are simply to fast for Brandish or Dimaria anyway. There’s no way you click your teeth faster than I blink or glare at you, and that’s how quickly and easily Laxus can summon a lightning bolt. He summoned lightning so fast that it evaporated the bullets Wahl fired at him before they closed the distance, and he summoned the lightning as reflex to the bullets being fired. Dimaria and Brandish simply lack the speed or attack power to put the man down. An her releasing a spell she cast on an unconscious Natsu so that an already deadly issue returned, isn’t the same as her forcibly organ busting a superior mage who’s trying to resist her. Like she already failed to do against Neinhart. So honestly, based on what’s actually in the manga, they don’t stand much of a chance against him. Laxus has the benefit of constantly living up to the hype Mashima has generated for him, even against Mashima’s favorite characters. Honestly think it’s why we got him vs Erza instead of him vs Jellal like Mashima knows we all desperately wanted.

Well Ajeel seems more surprised than scared shitless this was the same person who almost killed Erza who managed to tie with Laxus, Yet he did not without Red Lightning, the warning and errors was because his personality was compromise, actually base Laxus would be slightly below Spriggan tier in physical stats at least, he does check strength, that is why he adapts to them.

Mishma needed what?
Mishma can literally produce a aconologia tier plus to entertain laxus. Don't put constraints on the author. He could literally have a springgam lackey one shot laxus and it wouldn't make sh!t of a difference to the story

Look natsu and gray shat themselves looking at brandish. That is a fact. Now you are saying their own had more mp than brandish, but was not mentioned in the story. Yeah that doesn't make sense.
Laxus and gray might be superior to an average springgan. But not in mp

No jellal mp is nowhere near nienhart either
Laxus fight is not that clean. Laxus could have been shown outright superior to an springgan, but instead we got this weird fight which ended with wahl laughing his head off for tye last attack
I am just asking to take that in consideration nothing more

O and the way ajeel lost to erza. Ajeel could easily think that erza was most likely the strongest mage the good guys had and even she couldn't win clean

Did aconologia also shat himself when Eileen threw him in the ocean. The expression kinda seems similar

Then what was the point of that character description. Why did machina have to be weak to lightning. Wouldn't it have been simpler if machina were just immune to lightning. What was the Wahl overcoming lightning weakness thing

Erm,I dont know. All I know Wahl was laughing his head off when laxus was charging for the final pof attack. He didn't even bother to block or something

No. Laxus got stalemated by erza in the very next arc. How is that living up to the hype. And Suzaku will most likely fall to the good guys as well. So he also won't

Wahl did a complete analysis of laxus in the start.

Yet absolutely nothing suggests that Erza had really closed the previously humongous gap between herself and Laxus at that point, as was clearly established with her teams performance against Hades compared to his and backed up by the Jura situation in GMG and how they performed against Demon Gates in Tartaros.

Nothing was reinvented. You people just like to ignore things that don't hype laxus to the level you want him to be.
Wahl was never empowered. Wahl can't keep lightning in his body. He redirects it to attack laxus. That is how he is immune to lightning.
And laxus was fed lightning and Wahl did miss an attack on laxus, even though Wahl could hit the guild from how many miles away. And yes, Wahl was completely unguarded when Laxus a$$pulled his red lightning thing
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Not like wahl.
Machines have error, when they come into a scenario which they are not programmed for.
Something else was also in the manga. That runes take time to make. And they can be rewrite. Laxus shouldn't have time to write rune, and wahl should have seen him do it. And rewrite the rune himself. Instead of using negation thing on it

Wall is no different, yet Freed managed to write runes on a boat in a short amount of time, Laxus should be able to do the same thing, Wall was focused on killing Laxus, and Laxus was moving around everywhere, nothing was stated that Wall can rewrite runes like Level or the Thunder Legion can, it would be much simpler to cancel it out in that situation.
Yet absolutely nothing suggests that Erza had really closed the previously humongous gap between herself and Laxus at that point, as was clearly established with her teams performance against Hades compared to his and backed up by the Jura situation in GMG and how they performed against Demon Gates in Tartaros.
Well since BoF both Makarov and Mystogen have said that Erza could challenge Laxus, and with her able to trade blows and react to his lightning at point blank range it is a rather given, even Erza was not at full power too when she went up against Hades and Yet Laxus was, both have gotten Stronger since then, not really sure about Jura or even Tartaros, even Natsu was pretty much Hades level at that point.
