I remember saying something about a Bastard!! remake when the DQ one got announced in late 2019. Never thought this might actually happen.

Gon finally meeting Ging was a great place to end and the Chairman Election Arc was also good to wrap things up. So I'm not too disappointed that we're not getting an anime of the Dark Continent Arc.

That's a shame. I too wish he would've drawn more monsters during Red Hood's run. We only get to see, like, 4 different werewolves, a witch, and two violent hermit crabs? (Not counting in-universe illustrations).

Ch 17 got more monsters but it's shown like a showcase , not detailed but he did teased monsters he wanted to draw in ch 17 .

I wouldn't really say there's a moment like that. Dark Rebel Corps ends on a clifhanger, Hell's Requiem directly leads to Sin and Punishment, and Sin and Punishment's ending is still to be conceptualized (that's were I hope the anime picks up the slack). Immorality Comandments didn't "end" the series but the ending is perhaps the most "ending like" so far, even if serveral threads that were teased never got resolved.

Seems like Mogura was asked to delete the tweet about Bastard!! anime, well, everybody saw it already, so is just a matter of waiting to see if happens or not.
