if i understood it the right way. you can get your role back when 3 victims vote for you, so it does make sense to say that you became an illusion, so you can get your role back cuz the victims know

Well that might be an idea, yeah, though it could also make you a good target for the mafia.

Just like Lambu said though, I'm not a big fan of dead players being able to kill active players. Allows a lot of fuckery, especially in a case where you have like 2 or even 3 dead mafia on there...

But oh well, wouldn't be a Magu/Panda/GB game if it didn't involve lots of trolling

i guess: if an illusion is inactive or does not vote for a day, will they receive penalty votes or be up for host killing if idk 3xdays they have not made min posts?

12 Mafias seem too much to me. I don't think theyd put so many TP with that mechanic. I can see a Santa but not a real SS.

I am thinking:
-Two teams of 5.
-Two teams of 4 with a Santa or SK maybe?

12 scum is a given with 31 players. There are two teams of 5 minimum.
Also if there's a perfect scenario for a Shapeshifter to appear it would be this game, where does your skepticism come from?

Yeah, you can say that you didn't get feedback on your investigation or something. It can also be a hoe, hoe, hoe block though.

Mafia will need to scatter them first I think, as Illusions count as Third Parties. It is also not clear, whether the mech-Illusions count towards a Shapshifter victory or not. Or perhaps I missed the answer.

That raises the follow-up questions, if Illusion players will get penalty voted by not voting or posting 3 times, i.e. be up for hostkilling. @Hosts, could you clarify?

Panda just answered that only the illussions created by the Shapeshifter would count for his win conditions.
Its also quite clear that penalty votes apply to illussions, they are already "dead" technically but with a chance for revival.

There is no fuckery that I can see, when you die you get revealed, so the pad will have clear allegiances.
If multiple teams are in the deadpad they will have to negotiate, if 3 from one team then it guaranteed that team will be the one to choose.

Which is how the deadpad worked in previous game, allowing the team losing to catch up, main issue I can see is that Town can make the wrong choice and end up friendly firing, either because they believe someone is an illusion or that they are not town, but that could be by design as this can be balanced with more town numbers.

I honestly don't see what makes a SS so perfect in this game. Especially recently with people having SS paranoia. The possibility is never ignored.
