maybe just 2 new series, cause of one piece needing covers and MASHLE and UU probably gonna get covers for anime's

- Newbies cause there arent many veterans left who'd give it a shot. I could see Shindou Masaoki finally making his debut

Gonna guess A round of two cause of what people have said before in the thread about the probably upcoming One Piece episode 1000 cover. As for genres I feel like probably an action title as well as a comedy or sports. I think probably one vetern and one newbie, or two newbies. If a vet returns maybe the Food Wars duo?

Officially i dont remember names but there was this strong rumor that Rokuro Sano, writer of Ziga was actually Yokota, not only because of the artist being his longtime assistant but because he would not only promote Ziga in his Twitter but purposedly mention Hidano name but never Sano, that after the axe, disappeared, it was probably Yokota

I've been waiting for a new sport series in the magazine, hopefully we'll get it this time.

-2 series seems at least guaranteed with both Red Hood and Neru ending, though I would love it if it was 3 since we still have an empty slot sitting around. I'm going to be optimistic and say 3 series, but between established series covers and the general low number of serializations this year, 2 is most likely

-1 Sports series and 1 gag series, and if there is a third I'll guess a supernatural/exorcist series. The magazine is still in need of a proper spokon, so that's a safe bet. I guess another gag to preemptively test another gag before Magu/HSF get the axe. And a exorcist series because we haven't had any this year, surprisingly

-All will be newbies, going to predict they are saving the veterans for a larger serialization round for February-ish

My bet is 1 newbie and 1 mangaka with a cancelled series. My bets on veterans is for the next round when Dr. Stone will have it's 5 year anniversary and that we will have 2 veterans, one is Komi Naoshi.

A batch of 2 with Shiro Usazaki (we miss you) and a battle shonen would be heavenly.
Alternatively, give me a battle shonen and Dai Tokyo Oniyome-den.

I want more sports, but that desire is balanced by my undying need for a new battle shonen to replace MHA and Dr Stone in the upcoming year. I feel like we haven't gotten much "traditional" shonen since I started following WSJ in 2020.

PS Jump pls send Shuichi Aso when the gag-bowl ends. WW + BB + Aso are all I need to live thank you.
Also if we get Komi Naoshi next year I will legitamently ascend into a higher plane of existence.

My personal prediction:

-3 new series (RH, Neru and the already free space), we can have a quick pause for a OP cover and return the next issue

-A traditional battle shounen, a sports (i really wanted a real basket series, not a mix like BB) and a hybrid of SoL with other genres.

-2 newbie (one from a failed series) and 1 veteran, Jump usually don't go that much longer without a veteran/known author and we had 3 rounds of only newbies, so if we get 3 series one will probably be a veteran, and i bet on Naoshi (it's been 5 years + Nisekoi 10th anniversary) or Fujimaki (It's been 3 years since RxL)

- 1 sports series and 1 shonen about a certain profession (like cooking, medicine, veterinary medicine, etc.)
- 1 newbie and 1 veteran

- I think there will be some new and some old. Among the veterans I think a lot of them have a chance to be serialized so I'll just say some names.
Some of the more famous ones:
- the Food Wars authors
- Komi Naoshi (I loved his one-shot: Tokidoki)
- Sorachi Hideaki (Gintama)
Others who finished their last series recently:
- Gotouge
- the TPN duo

And maybe Kubo ? With Burn the Witch or Bleach

I agree with the possibility of two new series.

my guess would be a mix of veteran(Did a successful series or cancelled one), with either Komi Naoshi, Ken Ogino, Gen Osuka, Kawada or Shuichi Aso being my top picks, and newbie like say Nao Mamose, Taro Kaneko, Nakama Tadaichi, or Odoriba Yu being my main picks.

My top guess is a sports and a battle shounen series.
