It is with my greatest shame that the below theory is not original to me. My only contribution is to take the idea and feed it through my perpetually horny brain run wild with it. Credit for the original idea goes to Mat on the Tower of God Discord server.


Introduction
in chapter 518, it was revealed that the Lo Po Bia Family had intended to seal Jinsung in the Frozen Waterfall in order to coerce Baam into doing the bidding of their Family Leader. As far as I can tell, the original plan was something like:

1. Maschenny captures Baam.
2. Jinsung is sealed in the Frozen Waterfall.
3. Maschenny hands Baam over to them.
4. Using Jinsung, they make Baam do whatever they want.

This naturally raises the question of: "what do they actually want Baam to do?".


A Potential Answer
Well, we know that Lord Lo Po Bia is interested in selective breeding and forced Papa Baylord to breed with different women (Yama's mother in particular) to produce superior offspring.

What if he desires Baam for his bloodline (direct descendant of two Great Warriors) and genetics (a full blooded Irregular in his own right). The Lo Po Bia Family just so happens to have two Princesses that are also Regulars in Baam's generation.

What if Lord Lo Po Bia seeks to make Baam breed with the twins in order to produce the ultimate offspring. Assuming the twins are direct descendants, a child between Baam and one of them would have the genetics of 5 Irregulars:

• V
• Arlene
• Zahard
• Rei
• Baam

They'll place a whole new meaning on the term "ultimate descent". For someone interested in breeding superior lifeforms, any children between Baam and the twins could very well be his magnum opus.


Evidence in Favour
To further reinforce this speculation, at the Name Hunt Station, SIU said that the Lo Po Bia Princesses hold the key to one of the two big upcoming story arcs:

Lilial and Shilial hold the key to one of the two big upcoming story arcs so they appeared ahead of the power curve.

The specifics will be revealed in the later stories.

If they are integral to the plans of Lord Lo Po Bia at the Nest, it would explain what SIU meant by saying they held the key to one of the two big upcoming story arcs (the Nest certainly qualifies as that).


Conclusions
I don't know about Baam, but how could anyone say no to these lips?

Unfortunately for Rei, Baam and all people of culture, Maschenny sent Baam in a place beyond even his reach. To think that one would have to rely on a female villain to protect Baam's chastity. In actuality, she's just showing her true Khun colours. She wouldn't let anyone but herself have the Irregular.

I mean, i doubt Jahad is on board with any of this, be it Shilial or Enne. who coincidentally is a Poe Bidau, the family Rei is willing to wage war against even not being 100% on Jahad side it seems. Then again, if Garam can meet Enne, Rei should be 100% capable of doing it too and possibly get her out aswell. If he is willing to do something so dangerous, going against Jahad orders and waging war against a GF he might aswell go for the ultimate prize.

I brought this idea up weeks ago.

I don't think it'd be with one of the twins though. Yes, the potential is greater due to Zahard's blood being mixed in. But it's also a slap in his face personally and to the entire imperial administration, considering the rules around the Princesses and Zahard's personal enmity with Baam.

Maschenny being the one Rei chose is extremely unlikely and a slap in the face of Yuri maybe.
Whitegarmet widow makes a lot of sense, he lacks that maternal figure and the lobster foreshadowing at the start of S2 clearly makes it a match made in heaven.

Well i was half trolling writing that, i needed a funny reason to dismiss them and make a case for spider mommy as a joke. If i were to take the theory seriously i would stand by my opinion that any pairing not involving Enne doesn't make sense from Rei perspective considering cost-benefits of going against Jahad will and waging war against a GF.

Well, I don't think Rei has access to or custody over Enne.

Like Gustang is already in all out war against Zahard, and he hasn't gotten Enne back yet. Retrieving Enne is not so simple a matter.

If Gustang, Rei, Blossom, Baam, Garam > Urek want Enne out of prison she gets out, no doubt really to me.
