I‘ve been told that several people are planning to host games, so to avoid any problems like people cutting into each other‘s game signups and other things we may need a schedule of games.
For anyone who plans to host a game, you can either write in this thread for what month/day you‘re planning a game or edit it in the schedule yourself if you can.
Note that there‘s no limit to how many games can be had per month, but try not to have 2 games running at the same time.
Sign-ups!
To everyone who usually plays MG or those that don‘t want to miss signups, we‘re testing a new way to alert everyone to a new game instead of mass tags before each game.
All you have to do is go to>>this thread<<and press Watch on the top corner of the thread. I or a host will post there and notify everyone like this whenever a new game starts.
While hosting overall isn't necessarily hard, it's very easy to mess things up as we have seen plenty of times already. This naturally happens more often with newer hosts.
In order to get these new hosts familiar with how the game works behind the scenes and make it a smoother experience for everyone (no one wants a cancelled game!), we are establishing these sets of rules that follow the methods that have been used in the last 50 games:
-If it's your first time hosting, it's MANDATORY to have the help of someone that has hosted before. As long as they aren't banned, it doesn't matter if this person hosted twenty times or just once. This experienced host will be the "Main Host", while the new one assumes the role of "co-host".
-Tasks will be split in a rather equal manner so that the Main Host can keep things in check while the Co-host gets hands-on experience to learn properly.
-The Main Host has the final say when it comes to decisions (ideally, this won't need to be enforced heavily, it's mostly to avoid possible issues).
Once the game is over, the co-host can host on their own and even take the role of "experienced host" for a new host in need!
Tbh, I'm not sure if this game is right for me mentally and if it's right to sign up again, If i'm in a team and i doubt someone i just keep thinking about it forever until it gets confirmed whether guilty or innocent. My actions last game still haunts me, Every time i get surprised with with how extreme i can easily get. I just end up hating on myself.
Everyone knows that i love Erinyes so much, However, in that game, I was thinking that she might be a Santa/lover and betraying me, I kept thinking about it even when i'm not on PC or Phone. I quickly came to the conclusion that i have to kill Erinyes or getting her lynched to confirm my doubts. I turned to a monster easily and it hurts me doing that to people i love. I keep thinking if things gone as i have plotted and we were about to win and i ended up killing Erinyes and end up losing, I'm pretty sure she would have hated me forever for that play.
I wouldnt, it s just a game, if needed, you can betray me or kill me (with no pain pliz ) it's fine. It needs a lot to get me to hate someone, especially if I value them . Also I wouldnt have betrayed you,

Really? not even getting upset and angry? I think its hard to claim that until you really experience it. some people here hold grudges against eachother over this game.
I think it make sense for you to betray if it's your only wining condition, right?

I tend to not, I might be though but it wouldnt affect me I think. i d probably be upset if it's personal, if I feel belittled or insulted, yep it would definitely hurt me.
This game is a simulation of what humanity has of worse (betrayal, double betrayal, distrust, murder...), you should join if you think of it as training, learning to deal with some issues here may help you handle similar situations better IRL, at least that why I join even tho I also end up feeling bad after every game (for different reasons), I do notice improvement so I keep training!
Erinyes is cool she won't be mad, but others will, if you want to be more chill you can work on that but either way you gotta protect your own mental state, don't hate on yourself, that is something that doesn't profit anybody.

I won’t care if it was someone I don’t care about, I would kill them without a 2nd thought no matter how they turn out to be, the thing is it was Erinyes, someone I really like and in my mind I was only thinking about killing her to relief my doubts.

It can go both ways, For example in my case, If Erinyes was indeed a lover and i didn’t act like what I did, It would be only make me more adamant to do something like that.
