From what I understand on the part of the headlights, AA "expanded" them but the one who controlled the shinsoo there was Baam. It's still weird because the only person who doesn't fly there is Hwa Ryun, or at least that's what she wants us to think.

And re: Yool, before it is said that's him flapping his arms comedically ('I'm falling!' or 'I can't fly!'), consider:

- he clearly has 2 hair sneks now, previously 1, indicating he's had an actual physical transformation post his fight with the enemy LPB snek, opening up the possibility of other, associated transformations

and

- arms waving like that are usually associated with lines and symbols to indicate movement, whereas one or both pairs of arms are detached and/or translucent to indicate they aren't both in one place at the same time... none of this is shown with Yool

Jinsung's strategy was to retreat and then re-advance to maintain the status quo, that strategy was shattered this chapter, he retreated and could not re-advance. He could not counter attack and every time he tried he was punished:
-trying to counter/protect from Pudidy in the dark world and getting crushed by Dobo.
-tries to attack Dobo, Holan hits him from behind

He was blocked in defence without being able to attack because he was leaving openings, adding to this that he says very clearly that his arm is going to give out shows clearly that he was in a very bad position.

Neither I nor Cinera said that Pudidy was stronger than Jinsung, we said he was at CC level, it's just you who refuses to accept it for more or less illogical reasons.

So that owl is the son of one trau anima, they say that makes him a noble so all of trau anima are kings of there kind, so all the branches are base off his anima then, wanna which is the strongest I feel it's probably a snake, though that white one seems to be his go to for most issues, just realized that darkness power trau used to darken the room is probably dobo father abilities.

That why power levels are not the end all be all, dominated is a strong word though jinsung could come up with answers before bam showed up, the anima is young so it's powers might be limited the longer the fight last.

Even still, "dominated" is a strong word. We don't even know if Pudding could be as effective without Hollan helping him out. While not being on the same level as Pudding, he's certainly not too terribly far behind him. So, Jinsung has completely stalled out a 2 v 1 without retreating, without a scratch.

It's just a matter of time attrition, if his arms can hold out, which they don't seem to be able to do indefinitely. He's hardly scrapping the bottom of the barrel though, while Pudding is pulling out everything he has (that he brought!) in his bag o' tricks.

I don't really care about the vague 'is he or isn't he CC level' argument, but he's certainly not being "dominated" yet, if ever, in this matchup.

Speaking of putting on a show, the "regular" Yool just got done using a tool of the FH, and probably just absorbed the snek BH's personal pet shinheuh (possibly going Goro in the process), and we're over here talking about clothing...

The only technique that Jinsung mentioned wanting to pass on to Baam was the Dragon Tiger Gate. And that can be accomplished here at the Nest.

We do not need — and probably will not get — another Jinsung - Baam training time skip. Baam has surpassed Jinsung not only from a power level perspective, but also from a narrative perspective. This battle together will cement to Jinsung that his student is now someone that's stronger than him.



Don't sleep on that gorgeous smile either.

Jinsung has a lot techniques I haven't seen bam using, because he didn't have a strong body to do it, now he has one jinsung can teach more techniques outside the one based on high shinsoo control, he can teach him brute force techniques now that depends on how tanky one body is, bam close combat skills are still beneath jinsung imo, you can tell when he fights high level opponents, he couldn't land a hit on white for example had to overwhelm him with shinsoo.

Bam right now training under jinsung is different training from the test floor, bam still trains with evk why wouldn't he still learn from his master? I know what jinsung said but that more about wanting to pass on his ultimate technique to bam, looking at the move he used against masch or so of the move against kallavan has bam ever fought like that even now?

Jinsung primarily taught bam enough to dominate regulars, not for high ranker level fights, that a different sort of training, you can tell evk training of bam was much higher level compared to how jinsung was bam was very weak them not much he can teach bam outside basic combat and high level techniques he use effectively.

Beyond all that, Pudding isn't even his own shinheuh. He's using a hand-me-down from Rei. A power beyond his own that he shouldn't be able to control, that by all appearances he's never even been able to use.

It's like how Yuri can't get BM to activate, but it can be tricked into activating by an attractive guy supposedly, like Baam. Better analogy is Baam using BM at all. It's at the whim of the creature/weapon, and Pudding has not succeeded in subjugating Dobo on his own.

Pudding and Hollan weren't succeeding so Pudding had to go for the Hail Mary.

Pudding and Hollan's job(s) is to get through Jinsung, they aren't succeeding.
Jinsungs job is just to stall for time. He's succeeding.



By any job performance measure Jinsung is 'winning' this exchange thought the tide might have JUST started to shift into the enemy's favor - but only by a fluke of wordplay saying this is the FH's orders blah blah blah.

If you are failing your task while your opponent is succeeding then you don't get to claim that you're "dominating" him particularly when he fends off the dog-pile and you have copious backup.

Don't you mean Orari, his opponent (who he deded?). Maybe, or his lifeless corpse was further destroyed simple as that.

Ah, OK then. It seems he's mostly shown with one, I totally missed him occasionally being shown with 2. Damn.

I'm talking about the "possessed" snake. unless the captain killed the snake there, Yorari makes it very clear that Yool was no match for him, perhaps absorbing the snake's body.

OK, so interestingly enough (if that), he usually has only one. Even the character description indicates a single one is his standard appearance (from the wiki):

"He has short white hair and slightly grey eyes. He has a snake coming down from his hair...."

That changes when he uses:

Which I had forgotten, which doesn't always even seem to be in the 'on' activated state.

Hell, even last chapter he was only shown with one snek. Hence my confusion.

I thought this was an inconsistency by SIU (like the number of legs WGW has for instance), but it seems to be a whim of how he wants to show Yool.
