Saying he is weak because he uses tower born creatures is same as saying Arie is weak because he uses a sword that was made in the tower.

To be fair , the men created that sword make me think that even without Arie using it would still be a OP sword and could make anyone using it , strong as fuck .

I also think that Hon sword may be the reason why he is placed above Edhuan .

We already know how superior the irregulars are, we already know how this is going to end.

In 2 or 3 chapters we will have a whole repetitive monologue of how unreachable the 10 leaders are and blah blah blah.

All that's left is for SIU to make an stupid excuse using the hybride again.

The question is how strong they are .

Are they worth all the hype sorounding them or some off them are fraud ?

For example will Yas get one shotted , or will it take 3 to 4 attack or will Rei even struggle ?

That is the question .

Off course , i don't think that Rei is exempt from playing with his toy .

I understand that everything is supposed to happen at once here so there is a lot of jumping around, but why not just have the focus be on the flashback until it ends and then show Bam escaping the suspendium? Now the buildup is kind of getting broken for me. Especially since last chapter Bam was supposed to get the payoff of the arc, seeing HJ again and now, instead of seeing master and student fight, we continue the flashback?

Sazon, Jubei are great people! This webtoon recently horrible pacing, horrible length, horrible pov, horrible health. SIU might as well just take a break because it is clearly taking it's toll on him as seen by the numerous short chapters ! Then we would have good stuff for atleast a while!

We (already) know that Yas killed (because his hand was forced) WW in the FB... we just expected more to come from that resolution
and
We (already) know that Yas bared his fangs against Rei... we just expected more from that.

Seems like either a super-short chapter or some non-events that could have been consolidated to fewer panels.

This chapter doesn't seem to do, at this time without the full drop at least, *anything* to advance the story.






I still think Perseus or his horse summons will jump in before Yas' blow gets a chance to land.

You are right , the flashback would have been better all at once . Now if it was just a small flashback about Yas rage after killing WW it could be okay .

It is a thing that i see in big war , the more character there are , the harder it is for writer to deal with the pacing .

For example OP is a at Wano arc , and the pacing was weird particulary at the start off the war .

But hre it seems SIU is intentionally shifting focus each time something interesting is starting and i don't know why he does that .

Because right now , we have so many unresolved plot point , that it become hard to follow and for me who don't care about the regular and the cat tower it can be infuriating .

Now maybe there is something i don't get , because i initially thought that everything was leading toward something like Baam and Yama dealing with Rei , so SIU wanted to go back to Baam in order to make him help his master , then finish Yas vs Rei and after that Yama start to fight Rei and join come before Yama is defeated .

But now i am not that sure .

A glimmer of hope... but usually those early summations contain all the big plot points. It really seems like that's all there is to this chapter. Maybe some dialogue about how Yas' hand has been forced or Rei is a dick, but nothing substantial I bet.

The rhythm in OP as hard as it was sometimes at least was consistent.

SIU is simply dragging the chapter and breaking the rhythm. HJ spent 90 panels from the last chapter just posing, then at the end we have Baam and now out of nowhere we're back to Rei with an FB that doesn't make any sense to continue here.

All I need is SIU to make Yama cry over Yas's death.
