Im waiting for it too cause I did a quick skim with the last pages and can't find any except snippets from here and someone's mobile translation in Twitter. Though it should be sometime soon within the week (I don't know much what happened to the usual translator but I hope they're doing fine)
@axolotl sorry for the delay

Do you think Rei thought that Cobalt and Bladefish were sufficient to kill Yas?

To me, this is a 'even gods can bleed' moment.

Yes, Yas looks better by extension that means Rei looks worse. Even if so slightly. The gap between them just narrowed, even if only by a bit.

Cobalt isn't 'one of the 7' but a big to-do was made about how he is a deity-like summons, so he's obviously very far 'up there' in the totem poll of summons.

I still don't understand what difference it means whether the summons was auto-triggered or not though.
It means it's just a reaction from the beasts, it doesn't mean the eel or the cobalt failed.

Only that Yas, who has the size advantage, can get within a certain radius close to the Rei and the beasts just throw him away.

This is different from Troymerei needing to work or needing 4 summons to deal with Yas, which we found that didn't even need the first one.

IF Rei's summons get a boost by Rei moving his hands like a conductor or something, then there's something to be said about his level of inactivity.

IF however they are fully-powered from the onset, it doesn't matter what he does with his head on his knees or standing up or sitting down and so on.
I speak more for the fact that they are in the "bowl" of the King, although we don't know if he needs something like that, or if there is some contract between the shinheuh and the anima.

Because honestly, even cobalt looks like something more than snake.

So, your take is that Rei sent two summons after a cat that was too fast or two small to be able to be stopped before he got to the King? (saying nothing of how Yas just pushed the giant eel to the side like nothing, and how Cobalt's blasts seem to be completely ineffective)

How is that not a miscalculation on Rei's part then?

Seeing Traumerei do stuff is cool and all, but the fact that it's taking him this much time and resources to dispose of what should be an absolute relative scrub is not doing his Irregular mystique any favors. The argument for him being the weakest of the Great Warriors continues to become more credible.
I disagree... he hasn't even lifted a finger yet. He's letting his 'pets' do all the fighting since the opponent isn't worth his time

Unless I missed something about Fandore and Cobalt their order was to kill Yas and the action was ongoing, so technically they didn't fail but they didn't succeed either
They failed! Not only could they kill him in time, they also let him get through. Yas was about to sucker-punch LPB and had to add two more beasts.

I think that since odd-eyed cobra showed up many chapters ago in the FB, and more recently with Cobalt moving far away from Rei to do a task, that the concept of needing a bowl for these high-level, behemoth kaiju is unnecessary.

I do wonder if Rei can buff them further though.

But I didn't say it wasn't a mistake.

But that doesn't mean Rei is trash as many are pointing out, he's trash for other reasons. lmao

Its the fact that the greatest Anima in the tower had to summon two extra beasts to take care of a simple 'trifle'
But didn't Yasratcha get destroyed this chapter by ONE attack. Still don't understand.

From other animal they have put out something or do some sign for their shinueh to come out but for Traumerei is different they instantly come out whenever someone is close.
1. Who do think is stronger if Rei was to fight his own shinueh. And if he would beat them in a fight why would he bother get serious with just the likes of Yas, he is just ordered them to deal with who or whatever wants to fight him and imagine if Rei would fight along side with them, man none of these guys are worthy even Neneya was did like so Rei can show it to wangwang to test how he would react about it.

It makes sense, especially for kaijuu and spirit beasts.

Well, we know that in the LPB family there are anima techniques that go far beyond the ordinary of the position.

We've already seen Fenryl, possession (Yorari), occupation (Dokoko) and assimilation (WgW - assumption here).

So it makes sense that if Rei commands them directly they'll get stronger, something like senbonzakura kageyoshi getting faster when Byakuya uses his hands.

I don't think anyone thinks he is total trash. He's still an ancient irregular that can do better in ANY position than practically all of the rest in the tower, and has untold numbers of other tricks up his sleeves.

I just think the argument being made is that his showing is lacking - as the defacto king anima.

No one is pointing out that he is trash. Personally I,m just trying to come to terms with my failed expectations

I still don't understand what difference it means whether the summons was auto-triggered or not though.
An automatic summons means that the summoner has set a specific condition for their summons and if an enemy meets this condition then the summons will automatically appear without the summoner's approval.

If this is the case with Traumerai it means his "condition" is to approach him which Yas did twice.

If you still don't understand, let's take an example. Jubei you are a summoner and you are weird so you decide to make sure that anyone who says your name out loud with hostile intent will summon monsters. In a future fight you face an opponent, the monsters you summoned are strong enough to beat him but he is persistent and decides to scream your name.

Since this is the condition you have chosen, other summons will appear even if they are not necessary, useful or mandatory for what you are currently doing. They will still appear.

That's exactly the point.
In this case I agree

Guys, you guys are missing out on what really matters here.

We had a bombshell revelation in the chapter that no one expected.

Maschenny, the little dragon the sea cannot contain, is not omniscient. :gwah:gwah:gwah
