What’s the point to have slayers if baam is who’s going to fight them..

I voted for baam being the support in battle till zahard time came..

I don’t think traumerei is falling here.. but humiliated

I mean the real Zahard, not data one. Don’t you remember? The real Zahard came at the end and tried to kill Bam with his own hand and thorn teleported Bam to train. Gusting doesn’t need to be an ally of Bam to help him. It is same as how Mascheny is helping Bam now. Besides Gustang already knows and seems to believe in the Arlene’s prophecy. Think about it, why would Gustang miss an opportunity like this? He most likely knows about LPB is going to engage in the war with him and this would good opportunity to strike Trau before he strikes him.

I think you can see it another way. Since he is the "Prophecy Child" why would he need his help here? When Gustang tested him he wanted him to get the item he was looking for and then he repaid the favor. From his POV I don't see why he would need Baam ATM.

My feeling is that yeah, true Gustang doesn't need to show up, but considering that Gustang should have a huge grudge against Traumeiri he could do it. He has nothing to lose, he is already at war with Zahard, and Traumeiri did volunteer to fight / make war on The Po Bidau.

In another way, Gustang would be launching a premptive strike against the Lo po Bia, and weakening an adversary in the process.

gustang just mad at zahard because the Enne situation, but if you check before that gustang was like his right hand he set up part of the system..

As Traum is in the Nest, the LPB mothership is vulnerable to Gustang. If he want a preemptive strike, striking LPB mothership (the warp gate first) is better way.
