It was never something clear but there was some implication they were something not normal with these 2 .

They are special because they are Princesses that's it. Since they are Princesses it means they are obviously geniuses in the clan.

Orb is a Shinsoo Attribute. Not everyone has it. But maybe that's not an Orb and a Shinwonryu.

The only thing more was SIU saying that they would be the key to the princesses' arc.

There was never any real implication that they would be experiments.

Many of us thought this when Doom revealed that Yasratcha and WW were created by the workshop.

I'm not altogether against the idea. Shilial and Lilial are whatever, but I wouldn't mind subverting expectations of a fight here.
