No doubt he is. But he's an Irregular too. It's not unthinkable to imagine that Traumerei has an agenda that he cares enough about to make him willing to risk antagonizing the king.

But the LPB is the family who sucks up to him the most. I could see Traumerei proposing non Princess LPB partners to Baam but the Princesses themselves seems too much.

Actually no,Zahard gave 3 options,any one would suffice.He chose the option of fighting Gustang instead of killing everyone from Hell Train.So technically it is not a treason as he is basically fullfiling one of the 3 options.

Lol FUG is said to be like a religion, so you can never complete that order! Killing the PB family is another close to impossible order, because of Gustang. So the only realistic order is killing Baam and his friends lol

Agreed he is taking a big risk as fighting Gustang Definitely means his family will take heavy losses.Still the worth of Baam is so much he is willing to take this risk.

Whatever the Towerborn Rankers of the family do is not necessarily indicative of Traumerei. The Family Heads seem to be almost an existence apart from their descendants, and generally unconcerned with Tower politics. Traumerei could very well not care about pissing off Zahard.

We'll have to wait for a proper translation of course, but really. In what other context would Traumerei talking to Baam about the twins make any sort of sense?

I wonder what the allusion to Gustang is. Would be wild if this is the moment Rei does decide to betray Zahard, allying with Gustang. Although that's pretty low likelihood, it DOES seem like he's 'proposing' something to Baam after all!

HJ does seem to be stronger than Pudidy, but eliminating a branch of the Ha family is not a justification for that.

Apparently each family deals with branches in a different way. For example, in LPB the BH are the main military force of the family, while in Koon the wives are the BH and we don't even know if they are rankers.

And yet Traumerei chose the option of fighting Gustang instead of going the easy route of killing Baam and his friends.So basically Baam is more valuable to him than losing his top tiers against Gustang's family.
