Like i repeated many time those who see the FH and jahad relation as a mere relation between a boss and his subordinate are totally wrong .

This chapter show very well that Zahard can't afford to piss other FH and that the cohesion is necessary .

Read again about how Rei talks about Zahard in the chapter trans. Rei pointedly calls Zahard his king, showing at least some level of subordination, and says if Zahard says to jump he will say 'how high?' (but only if he says)

Traum already said jahad didn't interfere in their choices,since he didn't want them to split and let them decide on their own. Kill baam is likely to be from Hendo lok or Arie Hon i assume. Protect the baam team is likely to be originate from Shota lover Yurin as well. Neutrals are likely to be Family heads like Yeon,tu perie or so on. if Arie hon decides to kill baam,Ari han is likely to protect baam since they seemed to have bad relationships with each other.

Actually agreed. If he flexes that might polarize the ones on the fence against them. Deep down he wants them to side with him after all. It's not like he's happy about a kid he didn't get to strangle the life out of (twice) getting away. That'd be egg on his face.

Disable Traum attack after all the powerup he has been getting after absorbing White (And Levi) because that's his whole special shenanigans since day 1.

It doesn't make Traum look weak or Baam look super strong.

It's not the first time he has been capable of standing up to stronger enemies attacks thanks to that.

maybe there is a chance of bam politely turning down the offer and traumerei being ok with that? otherwise the only way out of this would be a power that can stand to another family head. at least luslec though probably urek or another family head. traumerei just let whatever happen so its not that insane that he continues that way.

even that is absolutely bonkers though. one of the things princesses are supposed to avoid is zahards power spreading. we are talking about a family head ordering zahard princesses to become traitors to the empire.

- Zahard doesn't actually care about the fate of the princesses, only saving face by not having those go against the rules of the princesses
- in any event, Rei strongly implies that Zahard gives his blessing for the twins to be used in such a manner in this super-special case, demoting their status as princesses in the process

Not really , there are those who consider Zahard as king , but it doesn't seem to be the same for all .

This chapter imply that the FH are not a cohesive group with zahard as the center and the head . For example whe Gustang came he basically betrayed Zahard which show that before there was not much loyalty .

They are all Zahard it is far from a mere relation boss an subordinate , there are those who seems to have that relationship , but it seems that they can easily turn against Zahard or at least some off them will turn against Jahad if he do something wrong .

Another family you can add to the Protect Baam list is Kuhn! The family has supported Baam since day 1 without question!
I’d put Yeon in the Kill Baam list. Do you remember Yihwa’s initial reaction when she met Baam and the awful things she said about FUG!!!

Zahard is the literal, de facto, coronated KING of the tower. That much is inarguable.

If a FH defies Zahard, they are defying a king, and thus are turning on their boss. They might not see his as such (or a false king, a la Arlen), but he's still the king nonetheless, while they aren't.

He's also the strongest among them.

So.... yes and no.

Pretty ingenious move here by Jahad! Although he wants Baam dead, he is effectively using Baam to sniff out betrayal between the Great Families. Gustang and now Traum have shown their true colors!



Jahad wants Baam dead lol. He wiped out Arlene and V’s existence in the tower, there is no way in hell he wants Baam alive and married

Zahard let baam go when he could have easily killed baam. He destroyed all of relics of arlene and v to weaken their influence as well as fug. Zahard wants peace and stopping any from climbing the tower more than anything.
