Also one thing to remember here about Traum - S3ch116 Yas says to Traum -“you still seem to have self-serving memory distortion”

I really can’t see other Great FHs saying - yah go ahead Traum, tame the child of prophecy and increase your family strength!!!

That angle is possible but I doubt it. The memories in question involved trifles, Traumerei doesn't care about that. Baam, Zahard and other FH however are his equals, so he pays more attention to this.

Somehow, but Baam going with Rei might not be a bad thing. It would be pretty interesting to see things how great families run things through Baam's eyes. Since the beginning, we've only seen the world through anti-Zahard's lens, but not the other side of the board.

It also segues naturally into a new arc by putting Baam near the forefront of a Lo Po Bia - Po Bidau war.

Don't see Baam getting out of this without the help of another family head. Baam may have to go with this temporarily, then escape before he has to do anything. "All" he is asking of him is to "marry" into his family, this would not to seem to be that big of a deal for people that live thousands of years, but since there are young people that read this story, it will be made to be a bigger deal that it is, and Baam is likely to get out of this somehow, someway. (To have the actual MC pair with and have a child in this manner may be seem as inappropriate for younger audience)

I wonder who Traumeri has as a hostage, he has a lot to choose from in the Nest alone, but he referenced a specific person

If Baam had been pathetic enough to be laid low by the likes of Elaine, then it's doubtful that Traumerei would have bothered to take an interest in him to begin with.

Zahard might be the king but FHs are important too. They are like a partner not a triffles. It seems Zahard cant move without asking their opinions. In case of Baam situtation, Baam has to agree this offer with some condition. Probably he is gonna ask, if he can have a mercy on his subordinates.

Very good chapter !! You see SIU, it's not hard to do something good when you don't cut away the main plot for some random shits !

No surprise here, Traumerai wants an irregular, I think we all saw it comming.
It was very interesting to learn about what is happening behind the scenes between the 10 family heads.
Glad we learn more about the potential evolutions of shinwonryu and what an irregular can do. Clearly, Bam is far away from this.

And don't missenderstand, the point here is not having Bam breed but tying him down to him by making Bam his son in law. It is a marriage alliance, all the more normal.

The sore point of this chapter is... Bam again. The man is again lost and dumb. Oh well.

I feel like for Baam to complete the prophecy, he needs to see things from both side to be honest. Since coming into this tower, Baam's constantly injected with anti-Zahard view (Zahard, himself doesn't really help the issue though.), he has to broaden his perspective. The empire itself might no be as bad as FUG claimed it to be.

Seriously, I know that many are just playing with this harem story, but to think for a moment that Baam accepting this proposal is a good thing, borders on ridiculous.

It's the same as taking history back to square one when he was blackmailed by YHS, the only difference is that the scale of the blackmail has increased.

Will the story go on forever in this?

Traum says here he’s been receiving reports on Baam for quite some time now and now he’s able to move due to Gustang breaking apart from the group! I’m guessing Ren reported to Traum after spotting Baam on the 2nd floor!

Seriously, I know that many are just playing with this harem story, but to think for a moment that Baam accepting this proposal is a good thing, borders on ridiculous.

It's just being realistic. Baam cannot do anything here. I know you don't like it, but it is the situation he's in. And he knows it. He'll avenge this stain on his honor some day, but if pretending to submit gets his allies out of the Nest alive then he has to do it. Traumerei can annihilate them all in an instant if he decides to.

Right now, Baam as as outclassed relative to Traumerei as he was in Season One against a Ranker.

Guys I think you all skipped something when reading the translation.

Baam's current power and hax level are currently unknown, he has gotten two major power ups since the fight with White and even in that fight he hasn't used everything. He isn't on Traumerei's level but I think evrything would be enoguh to at least "stand up" or get away from Traumerei *thorn space bending honking noises*.
Jinsung is coming their way as well. Traumerei might try to take Jinsung hostage in order to force Baam's decision, Jinsung might try and commit suicide in order to avoid such a thing happening.
Don't rule out the possibility that other FH, Luslec or Adori might make an appearance *teleports behind you, nothing personnel kid*.

The rule of cool seems to have taken over ToG I don't know why everyone is so up their a$$ about consistency or credibility, these things have been throw out the window quite some time ago.

13 GW are no gods, especially for someone like Baam.

He's already seen Zahard, he wasn't supposed to look like an idiot like that.

I mean, I agree. Gustang says as much his feelings that Zahard isn't a true king or something to that effect.

Doesn't really change my point though. He worked FOR Zahard and kept his trap shut for unknown thousands of years, until Baam came in the tower.

Why? Because he couldn't do anything about Zahard during that time. He had to act like a subordinate.



Zahard has the special contract making him a king, none of the other FH's do. That alone is proof they aren't on equal footing. But, we also know the strongest FH, Arie Hon, tested Zahard's strength and lost back to back to back to back. Thus, even without the kingly contract, Zahard is stronger than them all one-on-one. But, he's not only the strongest, he's... the king.

Even Gustang who is defying Zahard has to account for his kingly contract in putting his weight behind Baam (and possibly Rachel in some unknown way).

You are right about the contract , but it doesn't change the fact that the FH together hold most off jahad empire influence and power if they decide he is not king Zahard likely won't remain king for long .

There is still a difference between acting like a subordinate and being one .

There is also a difference between being the king and being a irregular king .

We know Arie is Zahard servant and decided it , what is the nature off they relationship ? We know it is complicated and it isn't a relationship boss servant for the most part .

Would a FH move if zahard want it ? Well we don't know . We know Rei and Arie are loyal but it doesn't seem that easy .

For example for people who have any idea how power work in autoritarian regime , there is a king or a leader but that king always have ally that he can't afford to piss off , those who hold key position in a country , for example the head off the military who can control the army and send it to kill the king if he is pissed etc etc .

All off that is to say , that zahard power is sustained a lot by those FH , not only that like most regime the king doesn't have enough power to overpower other family head , so he has to act right if he doesn't want to be replaced .

The thing is that the argument don't hold one , because Gustang doesn't need to be stronger than zahard , if he has enough irregular with him , zahard will be in danger .

Not only that , it seems there are multiple time where it said that zahard consider FH also has friend .
