It could be nothing, but the second image (marked 12) looks like a collection of stuffed animals.
If I had to make a guess (more like a stretch), it could mean we're going to see one of two plots in the future:

1: The plot continues through Marayam's perspective with his Sister's nen-beast still alive in some way. I make that leap in logic because Her nen-beast had a motif of stuffed animals.

2: The story introduces Alluka's return. I make that assumption because she was always seen in a room filled with stuffed animals when she wasn't on the move.

I myself believe both theories are incorrect, but for me it's the quickest thing that comes to mind which (maybe) explains image 12.

Yeah, my first guess was something to do with Marayam or even Woble.

I also didn't realize that a few of the designs are close to the ones seen in Alluka's room:



Though it could just be him reusing those designs/using similar ones.

An Alluka introduction seems more likely to me now. I didn't even remember seeing those stuffed animals.

Yes a flashback is definitely more likely the more I think about it. Killua wouldn't go back there and maybe we could finally see an interaction between Killua and Kalluto, who is jealous of Alluka.

It’s kinda funny how everyone is like

“The hiatus is over“

When realistically it might still be a while between these Twitter posts and the actual
release of the next chapter.

I don’t think Togashi is lazy or doesn’t care.
I think he is just getting older and drawing and writing is becoming more difficult for him.
Obviously the Twitter posts are just scribbles to get his ideas on paper and of course Togashi is still capable of great art.
But I am not expecting a full chapter drawn and inked anytime soon.
Even for young people drawing an entire professional manga chapter is a lot of work.


Of course that’s not to say we shouldn’t be hyped because if anything this is confirmation
that HxH WILL return when before there was speculation that Togashi just called quits


This is also good incentive for me to draw more of my own comics!

Depends on what you mean by "a while". A year?

Even six months would surprise me since it would be a little odd to make a Twitter account and build up all this hype, only for a 2023 return lol.

Though I'll 100% take this compared to where we were a week and a half ago.

I predict a Fall 2022 return.

The reason why is the return of Bleach in October 2022. While you may say what does
Bleach have to do with HxH?

Shueisha knows Bleach’s return is gonna generate insane hype...hell it already is.
They are going to want to cash in on that
momentum. I predict Fall 2022 will see the
return of quite a few beloved series.

Bleach has hype but so does HxH. Plus HxH's return will definitely be announced along with Volume 37. For Bleach there is nothing new to sell.

It all depends on WSJ lineup IMO. A series ended this week or the previous one I think and new ones have been announced. I think Black Clover is on hiatus too but I am not sure if it matters much here since this one is a mainstay.

Also you are mistaken when you say there is nothing new for Bleach to sell as

1. There will be a new Bleach anime already confirmed for Oct 2022
2. There already was the recent Hell Arc chapter which will very likely continue.
3. Burn the Witch, which is in the same universe as Bleach is already confirmed for a Season 2.

I'm not saying that the return of Hunter x Hunter wouldn't be hyped enough by itself.
But I think that both Bleach and Hunter x Hunter are series with a very loyal fanbase
and to me it just makes a lot of sense for Weekly Shonen Jump to capitalize on both at the same time.

and I don't think it will be just Bleach and Hunter x Hunter. There is also Chainsawman and more

I'm also hoping for Beet the Vandel Buster to make a come back! Although I know that is wishful thinking. But still it would be awesome.

I was thinking Brion and the Labyrinth city first time I saw it. lol. Just because of that tree and many people speculating this manuscript is for DC chapter. But, yeah I personally don't want Togashi suddenly cut SW and jump to DC at this point, so I guess Prince's Door is more plausible. What about that giant sphere, Halk and his bodyguards aura? .
