Not sure why some people wrote her story off as having finished more or less.

For me, Rachel has long since come across as a JJ Abrams mystery box a la Lost. It seems like it'll be interesting, but when you actually open the box, what's in there will be dull as hell or worse, nothing at all really.

After all this time, I doubt highly whatever conclusion Rachel will get would match the buildup her character has gotten.

The LPB were likely recalled in preparation for war. IMO.

Sounds like he called Lilial back for the wedding.

Gustang is the 'get more flies with honey than vinegar' big brain. He doesn't need to threaten bugs to have them dancing in his hand. He just throws them a scrap and they are happy to work for him.

Although no one cares if Pudidy and co. are arrested I'd rather remember that they're in front of the Po Bidau mothership so there's a lot of guys on their level and even stronger than them in there, he didn't stand a chance if he was fighting, he couldn't even escape.

Gustang went out of his way to reward Rachel, when he doesn't need to. Rachel seems to be a peon for Gustang's friend/associate/acquittance, if he really wanted to help his friend, then he'll just give the appropriate tool to Rachel, rather than asking what Rachel, a bug, thinks she wants to have.

That's just it.

While either threatening trifles (Rei) or helping bugs (Gustang) is below an irregular to do, both are trying to get Baam's attention and manipulate him.
