the things is that traumerei just went in to the portal to pick up the regular himself he was not expecting spent so much time talking shit

It's not particularly clear as an English primary either.

I too thought she might mean ranking first. But it is rather vague.

Perhaps she doesn't even know as this is The Captain's idea to begin with.

I thought that too but that's a really weird way to say it.

Ranking would mean skipping a lot in the tower, but I don't see how they would be relevant in a world where more and more of the strongest HR are involved.

I like the idea of them getting separated and I hope the implications are worth it.

But if Baam is with Traumerei and Khun and co are with Gustang I can't help but think that they might meet again sooner than expected

It doesn't really mean anything, she doesn't even know where they are going... maschenny is being controlled by the captain here. just dont worry about it.
