Pick your own partner, I don't think we all need to swap nor will everybody do it anyway, but if enough do it, then kill/block won't have as much impact as if only 2 pairs do it.

I don't expect all towns to follow a plan, some won't just because. Funny enough, I expect all non red to want to swap.

We can use other ways to deal with people that are sketchy.

I don't expect all towns to follow a plan, some won't just because. Funny enough, I expect all non red to want to swap.

Ok reading it again I understand where I misread it. Shad is right that:
1. Mafia/TP can not pick a person at night to swap with.
2. Doesn‘t need 2 to tango. Me targetting gnut makes me swap with gnut at the end of the night.

We can probably in limited fashion take advantage of that mafias can‘t swap, if we organize and it is followed upon then the pairs should all stay with same roles, except those that swapped with a mafia only swapped 1 time so both changed.

I think I don‘t like this mechanic. Takes too much away from MG and makes us solve the mystery with other tools than playing mafia.

And I say „limited fashion“ because depending on number of blockers they will screw with some townie-townie pairs by blocking one of them. Or a Prostitute randomly blocking a guy.

But even then, the pair will know if the other is town or mafia.

Does the game really get solved on D2? Or extremely narrowed down at least.

My main argument is this is lame af, but Evil is correct in that we need to use the tools we have. If the hosts make a mechanic that give you all mafias then you take it first and complain later.

Summary:
- Green weapons can swap, non-green weapons can not.
- Idea is that we each swap in pairs of 2. Example: Asako(Doc) swap-targets Misha(Det), Misha swap-targets Asako. Asako is still Doc, Misha is still Det. They know they are townies both.
If Misha was Mafia Boss, Asako becomes Mafia Boss and Misha becomes Doc. We know a mafia now.
- By swapping in pairs of 2, we ensure that on Day 2 we have a lot of townies confirmed at the very least, and best case scenario we also know several mafia.
- EZ win.
- You can swap and use your active night role at same night, so use both if applicable.
- Blockers like Prostitute/Escort could interfere somewhat, but even if they do we will know a lot more.
- This will work 100% if everyone does their part. The more refuse the worse it gets for us. Please be cooperative. Uncooperatives will be lynched, provided they have no good reasons.

Because your hints don't matter in the grand scheme of things, regardless what role you have. Be it Vigilante, Det, Bulletproof, any role whatsoever, it will all be useful regardless which player it is on. Doesn't need to be me. Docs can protect non-BP people like me if they suspect I will die.

And why the list, simply because it is the most fair. Alphabetically sorted, nobody can complain about it(or should not at least).

But I will give you this Shad, if this plan collapses and too many disagree or too many don't want to swap with their person, we could swap together. Just that I know you can be sneaky and cutthroat, and could see you setting me up with a SK or something to screw me over.

You know, since non of us townies want to end up screwing ourselves over, I would start with the list and then make it short by colouring in the people that generally don't oppose the idea and people that do. The people from the latter I would exclude right away from the swap as it seems dangerous, or what do you think?

So we would ideally have everyone say yes or no and then pair up the yeses (and basically start lynching the no people lol).

You are forgetting one variable, it is true that following alphabetical list is best for TOWN in the absolute sense, but only a sith deals in absolute.

You are so upset about the game that you actually don't care about winning it, you just want to show that you can break it (assuming we understand the mechanic properly), you judgment is clouded.

People want to trade but they also want to be on the winning side, also I learned from previous games that some players like Gajeel (sorry for using you as an example here) don't like the town sheep mentality and can be contrarian for no reason.

Also people have roles that you are not aware of and may have a better idea for themselves than picking alphabetically, you may not care but don't assume everybody doesn't.

The part about me setting you up is funny, you just said it doesn't matter what we do as long as we all swap, so why you prefer alphabetically over me? The person you got randomly can also set you up, and it wouldn't matter because as you said this plan is foolproof (I would like to wait until at least 1 night have passed before thinking this plan is, since mafia could be made of 5 hoes, or something wierd can happen).

But I will give you this Shad, if this plan collapses and too many disagree or too many don't want to swap with their person, we could swap together. Just that I know you can be sneaky and cutthroat, and could see you setting me up with a SK or something to screw me over.
