I‘ve been told that several people are planning to host games, so to avoid any problems like people cutting into each other‘s game signups and other things we may need a schedule of games.
For anyone who plans to host a game, you can either write in this thread for what month/day you‘re planning a game or edit it in the schedule yourself if you can.
Note that there‘s no limit to how many games can be had per month, but try not to have 2 games running at the same time.
Sign-ups!
To everyone who usually plays MG or those that don‘t want to miss signups, we‘re testing a new way to alert everyone to a new game instead of mass tags before each game.
All you have to do is go to>>this thread<<and press Watch on the top corner of the thread. I or a host will post there and notify everyone like this whenever a new game starts.
While hosting overall isn't necessarily hard, it's very easy to mess things up as we have seen plenty of times already. This naturally happens more often with newer hosts.
In order to get these new hosts familiar with how the game works behind the scenes and make it a smoother experience for everyone (no one wants a cancelled game!), we are establishing these sets of rules that follow the methods that have been used in the last 50 games:
-If it's your first time hosting, it's MANDATORY to have the help of someone that has hosted before. As long as they aren't banned, it doesn't matter if this person hosted twenty times or just once. This experienced host will be the "Main Host", while the new one assumes the role of "co-host".
-Tasks will be split in a rather equal manner so that the Main Host can keep things in check while the Co-host gets hands-on experience to learn properly.
-The Main Host has the final say when it comes to decisions (ideally, this won't need to be enforced heavily, it's mostly to avoid possible issues).
Once the game is over, the co-host can host on their own and even take the role of "experienced host" for a new host in need!
Well DD welcome back to the weeb mafia, where sometimes mafia sucks, sometimes town sucks and sometimes it a panda game (lover sucks!), but most importantly no jury, no qualifications, we just suck together, complain and do it all over again!
I asked this in the 102 game thread as well, but since many might not see it:
As a host, I'd like to know: Do you guys like or dislike subs?
Is it preferable over a host-killed when it can be found?
Should a subbed-out player that is sick or experiences familial/personal problems be banned like a toxic player would?
Should it be counted as a bannable offence and added to the Hall of Shame because they can't play at the moment anymore?
Should such a player be banned even if they could not foresee this circumstance?

I love subway but I only get salads there these days
I prefer it but it should be done no matter the affinity, I feel like it's always assumed a sub is scum (and it does end up being that case from what I have seen/recall)
Yes it is preferable.
No, I wouldn't hold that against them personally. You can only control what you can control so holding extenuating circumstances that fall out of general expectations would be very harsh imo.
No.
No.
If the stats are correct, three (75, 81, 93a) out of seven total substitutions (91, 93b, 96, 102) were for townies. That's almost a perfect split between scum and non-scum, so the assumption that it's reasonable to suspect a sub is scum for the only reason that it's a sub (or rather, that the hosts wouldn't care enough to avoid a townie hostkill) is quite a meme one '3'-b
Its a good thing that prevents game nosedives due to hostkills, so its a great thing to have at hand as a host. I think it should be used as a way to save a player spot if possible.

- Absolutely not, I think a track record should be held accountable but the circumstances in which a drop out happens does matter.
- If its used as an excuse on a repeated basis then things change, but as a first time it should not count in my opinion.
- Again, depends on the circumstance. I believe most of these cases could be solved with just common sense and no need to follow a rigid system, but I guess a drop out should be counted as a penalty regardless of the reasons behind it, just not with the same level of punishment based on the record and explanation.
Click the image>save to photos, that is the folder when all of your pictures and videos are. After that, you press on edit your avatar and it will promt you to choose which folder and you press your photo folder( thats the folder in which you previously saved the avatar) and then you pick the avatar! That should work @gnut
