But he will definitely lose his territory. And it would be OK for luffy. After all, he declared the Fishman island as his (only) territory just to keep it away from Big Mom.

I wonder what you mean by this.
Shanks didn't say that and we don't know why he was close to wano. Was he aiming to help Luffy to beat Kaido and revenge Oden's death and open Wano?! Also, Bartolomeo's action doesn't represent Luffy. We don't know for sure if Luffy's next target was going to be Shanks and if it's alright for Luffy to provoke Shanks.
And even if Luffy knows about Bartolomeo's action and he was the one giving him "the order", I don't see why Shanks wouldn't want to see Luffy and congratulate him for his achievement, acknowledging Luffy as a rival and declaring war between them

The count won’t matter if he can regen his heads after a period of time, right? Not sure, but i always felt that both him and Kaido would meet their ends similar to Oden. Kaido did at least, and arguably Orochi was pretty scorched by the time denjiro made his attack so that could have been his end as well. Or not… of all the alternatives that have been put here, Orochi still makes most sense given the nature of his abilities.

I found it weird as well. Guess he knows Oden is dead but is also hoping his kids survived somehow; there was no news of them dying anyhow unlike Toki and scabbards. Weak logic still and therefore weird…

I think Shanks' haki can stop people from using haki or DF... of course WB managed to use it a bit when he met Shanks but thats WB... a different beast

It also establishes the long power scale discussion:

He must know about Oden's death or at least something bad happened to him. If Oden was alive (or free) Kaido wouldn't be in Wano (Oden would never ally himself with the likes of Kaide).

What Shanks did to the weakest members of WB crew is something Luffy (and everyone with strong haki such kid Yamato) can do.
Garpp and Sengoku didn't try to attack him. They didn't want to attack him because it will be a declaration of a war against a Yonko. A war that the marine would have lost.
There is a difference between not attacking (by your own will) and being forced to not to take action (because of someone else's will/haki).
You may have said that Shanks nullified Akainu's ability but that was anyone with haki could do but back then Haki was unknown for us

Also, if Shanks has such ability, he should have stopped Kizaru from taking action or nullify his ability
